Insulate the room where the intake is, recirculate the exhaust, if supplementing with CO2, this will be of benefit as well, reducing the amount of CO2 needed. Of course a sealed room would probably better, then insulation becomes even more important because there are no heat losses due to ventilation. You're being pedantic man. The point you made about CMH was great, different setups are suited to different contexts, there's no one answer.
