yield is my only beef with ice hash. im normally between 18-25% return off a ounce, 25 being the most ive done i believe. not sure where that sits vs bho. but it would cost me a lil over 25 a gram amusing i can find it that bubbly. lots of people and centers carry bubble hash powder! wtf is that bullshit! hah. guy actually told me they only call it bubble because its made in water. bahaha. as far as drying time tho you got me there, but ive learned to be patient. from start to finish, assuming thats all you were doing, whats the turn around time for properly made/ purged bho? also where is that $10 bubble? :bigjoint: id go nuts if it was anygood lol

Im saying if you sell it to a dispensary youll get 8-10$ per gram for bubble or 20-25$ per gram for bho. Returns vary as with any hash. I hit 20% fairly regularly but i dont get above 70% thc at those yields. Thats the other thing.... Potency.

Yeah ive heard that shit called sand. 90+% of the "bubble" at dispensaries does not bubble. It burns like an incense cone. And hes right, dispensaries call anything hash-like, "bubble".

Thats solid. Id be shocked to see all 25% of the return bubble. Quite shocked actually.

i was just as shocked honestly. it was TGA's apollo 13. normal for me is closer to 18%, but the hash gods were in tune for that run. ill be making my 4th run on the machine this spring, waiting for a good cure. hand mixing tho id get maybe 12% great bubble, the rest 1/4 to 1/2 melt. i had some black cherry soda/sour desiel hash sent out a few years ago that was low 40's high 30's thc. hopefully ive gotten a little bit better since then, ive heard people hit 56%.. although ive never got the pleasure to test it myself. no idea whats norml really. idk if i believe some of the lab reports for bubble over 60% tho lol

First one isn't exactly honeycomb. That's my most popular consistency with my patients too. It's more like slabs of oil then honeycomb. Honeycomb has more of a sugary texture.

both look tasty though.

I agree honeycomb is the #1 most requested consistency. No one hardly ever buys my amber shatter, just sits there till the honeycomb is all out.

IDK, once you scrape the dish, it's puffy/crumbly/grainy. Like this:

i agree! it was the only time ive ever cracked 20 that im certain of. it was a frosty apollo 13 from TGA. never grown one that looked that great again, maybe it was a fluke? or the hash gods were on my side that day.. normally with bud, im closer to 12 on the low end to 18 on the high, 20 rarely. you've got some good info on bho Rare D, thanks. OH those numbers are from the machine btw, i didnt say that earlier, by hand i was in that same 12-15. never higher than 15 that i recall. whats the norm for bho returns? others ive ask said around 25-30, some say lower. do you run your bud or just trim? open or closed system?

I run an open blast system. Multiple Okief XL tubes. I prefer to run nugs obviously, but I run whatever is handy. I do production runs for friends with big spots, or smaller runs for patients who can't make their own extracts. Yield depends all on quality with bho. Highest return I've ever gotten is 20.5% from some very frosty sugar trim and popcorns of querkle a friend gave me. Sour diesel usually averages 14-18%, poor quality will get about 10%. My most recent run of all ghost OG popcorn nugs yielded 17.5%.
