Any acquainted with folks that used PGR's that is directly linked to some personal health issue?

You've never seen edude anywhere but here. ;)

Invite sites go though uncomfortable slow periods. Also, most of the people in those site are not new gardeners looking for advice, it's old farts trying to tell other old farts what they do.. A lot of dick measuring..
Because you're not a member there, seems to me you're speaking out of turn. There's a lot of solid experience without the "he said she said" hype.

I like helping noobs get started and to 'try' to leap frog them over all the bullshit and with out belittling them.
You are a noob. https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/551800-silicon-your-plants.html

That's what Troll-It-Up is, noobs "helping" noobs aka the blind leading the blind. Over the years, I have spent countless hours undoing the messes guys like you create.

^trolling.. LOL

Why are you hear then? Sounds like you'd much rather be someplace else. You know what they say, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.

Also, try not to be so jelly about people that know more then you about products you've never heard of. It's called experience and unless you have it.. you don't have it..

I'm sure you'll be trolling that thread too. You just can't help yourself can you? :)

Hey Ben,

Let's keep your tantrums to this area.

Silicon:

What I find interesting is that Protek by dyna-gro is very popular. More popular then their nutrients. I heard about protek before their nutrients. Ben, you love their nutrients but think silicon is a 'snake oil for noobs'... Somethings not adding up.. why would a good company for nutrients make a crappy product and how could the crappy product be more popular then the nutrients you say are awesome?

I like Walgreen products. Doesn't mean I'll buy them though.

And for the record, every time a new group of noobs "discovers" something that is new to them, they think they're Joe Smart. Folks, it's all been done before save for some new snake oil product that sucks you in big time. "Popular" always means a select group of dummies, minority or majority. Look at this shithead of a President we have now if you need an example of "popular", or the marketed, processed mindless "music" of today. It's all a bunch of crap.

For the record, never used silicon products. Don't need to.

budman111, where have i actualy promoted the use of paclobutrazol. have you not read my entire posts, or are my posts that unclear as to my thoughts on the chemical? i am looking to find exact health issues caused by this chemical as well as from daminizide, also looking to see what chemical changes occur when they are combusted. why does this bother you so much. there are only two states where this stuff is banned in the hydro shops. are you not bothered by the fact that other people are using this stuff and arent fully aware of what the exact dangers could be? i for one like knowing exactly what is in the products i use and there potential risks. (no i have not used either product, when i do the plant material will be disposed of properly after experimentation)

I think my point is that this is work already done by the EPA or whoever. Paclo has been around for a long time and they learned a long time ago not to use it on consumables. This is why you don't hear about it in the news or know someone that has gotten sick from it. Like smallpox it's something they 'tried' to prevent or fix a long time ago. It might be sold in other states but it's only 'meant' for ornamental plants.. The alure is the weight and faster flowering and the hype. It's one of the few things that REALLY REALLY work.. like don't mess around works.. all you can do is educate. Not saying stop, but to me it's a forgone collusion. Paclo = BAD for me. :)

i fully agree edude. do not dissagree with one bit of what you said about paclo. i am still interested in the science of it though. i know of the info reguarding engestion, enhaling, absorbsion into the skin. but i havnt seen anything about what happens when plants it is used on are dried out and burned then enhaled. i fully understand that it is BAD. well this whole thread was hyjacked and brought off of its original topic either way. ill quietly do my research and stay clear of the arguing. i know there is a lot of research done by the fda and other agencies, just trying to find the specifics i am after, if i have to get the research done myself or not.

I'm looking forward to hearing your explanation as to how Dyna-Gro could possibly be so evil as to openly lie to everyone in the text above. While still making the nutrient you love and respect. Pretty hard to claim that one apple is poison when you're eating an apple plucked from the same tree. ;) Hypocrite..
You can use whatever you want, I don't really care. I'm just saying I don't need nor care about "....is an easy to use liquid concentrate" silicon products......doesn't matter who's pimping them. Guess you missed my point - just because it's for sale, is popular and is explained in a vendor's ad doesn't mean shit, at least not to me. I have NEVER used silicon products and I have been growing all kinds of plant material for over 40 years both on an amateur and commercial basis and that includes cannabis. My plants (and that includes thousands of trees, veggies, grapes, nuts, fruit, berries, etc.) are disease and insect free, without need for the application of pesticides except for my grapevines which require fungicide sprays because of bunch rot pressures. As soon as I get a new cam I'll post photos of my current plants, they are gorgeous dark green....very healthy. The only nutritional treatment they've received since they were germinated in uh.......April is a 12 month slow release 18-5-8 with micros. Being that the food doesn't contain Mg (but my water source does) they occasionally get a very light hit of epsom salts, about once a month. Custom soil blend done by touch and feel, no real measuring.

Now, I've been schooling guys like you for over 15 years regarding "essential" versus "beneficial", a concept you may be embracing......just don't know it.

this website is funny how MODS and the admin choose which comments to let people post and which ones they decide to delete. makes you wonder if some of these people pay the site so they can be complete dicks to everyone. lmao.
