BuddySkunk's Very First Grow! (5 weeks into flowering w/ recap!)

If your six weeks into flowering your plant is looking very small and has hardly any fan leaves.... why is that? am I misunderstanding the timeline?

I have been putting my plant in the dark for 12 hours, light 12 hours for 5 weeks total, starting the 6th week today. Technically, within that timeframe my plant showed signs of being female during the 3rd week. So technically, I'm beginning my 3rd week of flowering.

Forsure..... Good thing to remember about potted plants is that they will only grow as big as the container they are in. Once the roots run out of room your plant wont grow any bigger, so if you want a bigger plant with larger heavier buds use a larger container. Maybe start out in the size you have what is that a 1 or 2 gal? then transplant into something larger after a week or two of veg let it run a couple weeks after the transplant then throw it into 12/12 and you'll have a nice plant.

I'll definitely have to try this. I'm also LST another plant of mine. I'll get better pictures on here tomorrow or the next day. :leaf:

Thank you a lot for helping me out man. If you were to guess my yield, what would you say? :) A range, if you can.

Hps will produce the dense buds and promotes resin production. Mh is good for veg because it makes your plant bushy by keeping the nodes tight, also for the first bit of flowering its good to keep stretch down.

My plant nearly doubled its size when I started to flower it! Is that rare?

Yea LST is great it allows me to grow in 5 gal pots with a ceiling of only 7', It allows me to veg for at least 4 weeks and have tons of tops and still have some good headroom.

Honestly if I were to guess I'd say from the way it looks now you would be lucky to get 1 oz dried and cured.

No its completely common for a plant to double or triple in size so account for that when you throw it into flowering, if your 2ft plant goes into flowering it will end up 4-6ft tall without any training.

I'm hoping to at least get an ounce.. That would be cool lol. Because then I have another plant I have yet to flower which is low stress training, waiting for the side branches to stretch a little more.
