Buds quality LEDs VS HPS

I think it's just becoming a clown show.

You would know
Buds under (good) LEDs are so good compared to HPS, weed under HPS is very "stereotyped"... it's more difficult to feel the real and deep differences between two strains or two phenotypes of the same strain: with LED you just need more curing because of the density of the buds that are not sponge like the HPS buds.. I use 4 x4 CREE cobs at 1750mA in my 150x150cm, I harvest in soil 1.4kg sometimes a little bit more or a little bit less depending on the strain.. I won't never go back to HPS, it's not serious if I did it!

Or you can just increase the distance between the ripening buds and the hps lamp the last couple of weeks or so for the same effect.

The 315 cmh I used seemed to create the effect you are attributing to led. But it's the heat not the spectrum affecting the bud structure and quality and especially terps in my opinion.

I haven't had to screw in a replacement LED yet (knock on wood)
How is replacing lamps every year treating you?
I've sent LED buds to the people who shared these cuts with me years ago and I have records of their reactions and impressions and not a one had a negative thing to say about the LED grown as they didn't even know it was LED buds...

I challenge any HID maximalist to an HID/LED smokeout and we can record the whole thing for youtube.

Did you really call an hid user a maximalist?

Isn't your post more led maximalist?

No one is trying to prove hps works. And only a few are saying it's better.

Still waiting on ANY test here instead of deflections of the presented test. They have been presented for what they are and no attempts or assertions that they are scientific gospel. Just valid and real test.

But Hey...it’s more fun to deflect and speculate than actially putting the tires to the road and using the horse power. Let me know of ANY other test you would like to present.
I think everyone agrees that more experiments are needed, but I'll be frank: Your results don't say anything one way or the other about whether LED is better than HPS.

I know you don't want to hear it but it is the cold hard truth. Even if the test results are 100% accurate, and they are not, your sample size is too small. Your results are just noise. Sorry. The differences between the two samples could be within the margin of error in the test results, normal bud-to-bud variation, or some other uncontrolled variable. There is no way to know when N=2. Even with N=4, unless the size of your effect is like night and day you're not getting any information one way or another.

Science is hard, which is why people don't like to do it.

Excellent post. I tried to say this in a less effective way.

But I did add that the test proves that the lights are fully viable and can do the job with a bit less watts.

In my city they already have been. Not only are they inefficient but they're tired of seeing house fires started by stupid kids with streetlight grows.
COBS are dangerous too. Hold a cigarette tip in front of a Vero29 at full brightness, the motherfucking COB doubles as a cigarette lighter. Try it if you have one. We had quite a chuckle when we discovered this.

I love my LED light. I can't say it grows better than HPS because I've never grown with HPS.

Here's a picture of my first finished grow.

please cite me a source other than somebody making money...that is the definition of organic chemistry, a carbon based molelcule.....Please explain how CO2 is considered inorganic in anything other than organic gardening, again, which is different.....
Look it up yourself and do some reading. I'm not your mom.
