yeah but i wouldent steal it. If you really wanted the dog wouldent you take the proper steps?
if the chick was getting beat would have i kidnapped her?
The proper steps in that situation would be to call the cops and wait for them to come while she gets her ass beat.

Sometimes you gotta take matters into your own hands.

FUCK DA POLICE!

I think it would depend on an individual account. Perfect example is the dog in my neighbors yard. Dude cries everyday, it's a huge, 150+lb Rott, way too big and dangerous to steal (although it's crossed my mind!). It would probably chew the fuck out of my throat before I ever got it to safety, not to mention my 15lb dog it would eat for fuckin' dinner that I love if I brought it into my yard. Our city's protocol on animal abuse is waiting 10 days, seeing if it's still bitching, then calling again, then getting a letter sent to the house about it.. so yeah, hopefully the motherfucker survives that long if something serious is actually happening. IOW, they don't actually give a fuck about animals in the city. 10 days is plenty of time for an animal in extreme enough conditions to die at least twice. This dog is just in a cage everyday. It's sad as fuck. Why even have a dog if you just lock it the fuck up like that?

But would I steal it? I don't think I could for one, although it would probably be the right thing to do, as the asshole neighbors don't treat it right.. but it would probably fuck me and my other dog up.. Once I went out there and tried to get its attention n shit, just to see how it was, if it was friendly or whatever.. instantly started barking.. lol.. I don't blame it.. I'd be pissed too.. shit. But those dogs are genuinely dangerous, Idk if you've ever seen a Pitt up close but goddamn, they actually scare you. You get the feeling they could actually kill you, like you would if a Lion was walking around.. My friend had one, and it started growling at me one time! Omg! I almost pissed my pants dude, not kidding! They're really muscular animals. Try petting one if you ever get the chance, lol, it feels like they work out.

It deserves a better home though, definitely. I feel bad for it..
Is that still going down? Sorry dude you know my position on all that lol I don't imagine it's anywhere near me is it?

Ummm.. If a care center decided to take your wife off the streets and in good care, then yes, yes that would be selfish of you to drag her down. I believe it's you that has it backwards bud

JK about the "bud" thing lol. You really are cool :)
the difference here is that should circumstance change the wife could return or decide not to leave. will h8 be monitoring the
situation and return the dog?

I can use the same argument against you.. I can easily ask you "are you sure the dog isn't being forced to befriend the hobo and eat trash?"..

This is a tough one to choose being a dog owner myself. I read the other thread and have my own opinions on the matter, just like everyone else here. Personally I would have talked to the dude and the dog, find out his situation and offer to help in some way, maybe buy him dog food and stuff for the dog. If the dog did not seem to be abused or neglected in any way, I would not have a good feeling about taking it away from the bum.
This dog is probably the only thing he has in life at this point. If the bum does not want help then I would have to call in the authorities before I would even consider just taking the dog.

What would be different if he went that route at this time? H8 would still have the dog.
The difference would be the SPCA would have confronted the homeless man, he could have said goodbye, and he would have known the dog was in a better place. For all he knows the dog is being used as a bait dog for a dog fighting ring. I still think srh did the right thing, the bum could have just been shown a little more compassion and dignity.

That's true.. But I wonder if they would have even talked to the guy. I've seen my dog tried to get captured without them talking to me before. We didn't have a fence but he'd hang out by our front door. Neighbors called him in for some sort of fucked up revenge I guess.

Hmm.. Maybe he should have gone that route. Can't say much about that though. What's done is done.

I dunno, I don't really trust druggies, the dog may look fine but who knows what happens when he's high, could secretly beat it or say "this is fun boy, here take a hit of this crack!"

Anyone who's not at least trying to move up in life, I couldn't feel comfortable with them owning a dog.
So you are against homeless nomadic people having the one pet that best fits their lives?
Dogs were wild before we started breeding them as pets.
They are more than able to survive on the streets...not to mention there are too many homeless pets as well as too many homeless people...The animal will help the bum survive, just like the bum will help the dog...I mean if they are both starving to death I might buy them a couple cheeseburgers or a bag of dog food or something...but you can't just take a homeless man's dog. I mean he is already homeless and shunned by society...you want to take away the one aspect of his life that doesn't make him feel worse about his situation? Just doesn't make sense to me...
I know plenty of people that have homes and neglect their dogs...
I don't really like to see homeless people begging for food with a dog tied to them...but I can understand it I guess...I mean they are both homeless, may as well be homeless together.

:dunce: who the hell do you think fucking animal control is you dumb fuck gtfoh
they work with the police, they are not the police

Animal control services may be provided by the government or through a contract with a humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (no relation to national organizations with similar names). Officers may work with police or sheriff departments, parks and recreation departments, and health departments by confining animals or investigating animal bites to humans
get the fuck out of here.

Right, which is pretty much my take on it...Most adult dogs taken into shelters end up having to be put to sleep, so why not let them live their life the free-est way possible...There are lots of things that the dog might not have, but it will still get the basic things it needs.
