I have had a hard time accepting help from people my whole life.
I never ask anyone for anything, i usually find a way to get the things in life i want or more importantly need. Thats how i destroyed my body i guess.
If your willing to help point this in the right direction than i will gladly accept any and all help.

I looked it this kickstarter thing and while i agree that it could be a way to help raise some of the money im too nervous to attach my name phone number and bank info to it for obvious reasons.
After talking to a dozen investors and applying for all the applicable government grants and loans im now in a wait and see mode.
If the grants and or loan falls through then this idea may fall by the wayside.
I am finding it a pain already and the work hasnt even started.
Just thought those that cared might want an update.

I havent given up yet but my confidence is waning.

Damn...I hope something great happens! This would be a very good thing. May I ask if you have your eye on a piece of property already?

there's people who will help out too.
the crowdfunding is a great way to start. i was thinking of what "perks" you could offer the early investors IE:$100 gets you a free night, $200 gets weekend...etc $25 gets 50% for a weekend booking
they said a video would be a great thing to have so I guess some pics, some video & put it together then people can "see" what the idea is.

The problem with the crowdfunding is u need to go on paper with all your real identification and info which given my situation right now could be bad.
Especially considerin the mj element.

I put alot of thought into those perks too.
I was thinking similar
1000 for two weeks
700 for a week
250 for a weekend
100 for a night or a tent site for the weekend.

Probably similar to what the rates would be once complete.

Well the negativity has won.
I waited for two weeks only to be declined by kickstarter to even open my project.

So barring a lotto win or some type of miracle investor looks like this whole thing was nothing more than a dream.
Im waiting on an insurance settlement but it wont be enough to get this going.

Thanks everyone for trying to stay positive and all tho.

They said it was to big of a project to try to finance under any of the timeframes they support.
Told me to retry once i have more of the project underway.
