Well miss Calicatt, I'm glad to see ya back and DAMN what a nice little bud factory you have goin. To bad you couldn't find a bean in that Mexican stuff, since I grow it I can honestly tell you it is way better than you think when you show it the same tender lovin care you give the store bought stuff.

I use to know a guy that only had mexican stuff and it was some of the best stuff and looked like kind bud I always asked him if he is selling me the wrong stuff but he always said no and for 20 a quarter I was not disappointed, and Catt I may just take your idea and smoke mexi weed when I harvest to lower my tolerance.

It's GREAT to be back Tx, I'm glad your still around too! And you've found your way here....YAY!!!

Yeah this stuff I got you can tell was grown and hrvested as a cash crop...no love put into it, hence the end result! It prob. sat in a warehouse for 10 years before it founds it's way up North. I'm sure it traveled 2000 miles in a truck tire or something...lol! I now know that anything I grow is going to be sticky, fresh, and better than ANYTHING i can buy in my entire state. 70 a qtr here is the cheapest it gets.....I could sell what comes out of my closet for 125 a qtr and folks would still feel like they got what they paid for!

Sucks living 15 years behind as far as cannabis education. I can't remember the last time someone actually knew the name of what they were selling....last good sack I got was 50 an 1/8th and the kid called it green tea...LOL!

Because I've read your threads and I know that growing is something you thoroughly enjoy.

You LOVE your babies giggles, and that makes ALL the difference IMO!

So....my humidity is almost non-existent - around 0-10 percent. Was thinking about picking up one of those little waterless vaporizers that you plug in and trying to see if that will increase it just a little.

My leaves are pretty dry....aside from that I don't know what else it could be doing....I just feel like they need at least SOME humidity in the air.

I tried just splashing water from my hands on them a little. And it totally left little water spots on my leaves....so spraying is out!

Any thoughts????

Spraying should be a thought being spraying is misting and flinging water from your hand is droplets which is what causes the spots or burn marks, just spray and if you see any droplets that are pretty big knock them off. They can absorb mist droplets faster than the light can burn them.

yeah....I did fling now that I think of it. But I thought I knocked off all the droplets....now I'm scared to mist...lol!

I'm thinking vapors, or steam??? Well, I'm heading to town now, Ill let cha know what I ended up getting. Be it a fancy mini humidifier or a nice spray bottle :)

roots is still roaming around these parts somewhere.....I know he's gonna pop in when we least expect it :) He's still ravishing in his outdoor harvest this year...I just know he beat that frost.....and it's about time for his winter grow..... No blax yet, or kronnix or geturgrow on :( But I've only been back for a little bit....

Or maybe they have moved on to HPS and can't be wasting their time with us CFL folks anymore....lol

You cfls growers aren't a waste of time. I started out all cfls and I still keep my clones and mothers alive under cfls

They are great for veg especially 5000k but ups is where its at for flowering.

Oh and take a spray bottle cali and spray all your walls and around your plants to raise humidity or get a warm mist humidifier from wally world for 18$.

I'm glad you like me cali lol

Im in the closet lol so I don't monitor a lot of things, humidity being one.
I know for sure it's not too humid in there due to the temps and the fact that the air is constantly moving, but I don't know if its humid enough....
My leaves aren't dry so I don't think I have an issue, BUT here's what I do for some piece of mind....

i bought a few gallon jugs of water from the store and kept a few after using them, so I've got like 6 in all. After I water the plants I fill them back up immediately and let them sit.
I figure it serves a dual purpose.....evaporating the chlorine from the tap of any is present, and contributing even if very minute, to the amount of moisture in the air.

so I have like 6 gallons or water sitting in the grow space without a top....maybe it helps??
Def. haven't had any issues with chlorine or choloramine.

But your prob already bought a humidifier huh lol

Just what I did giggles :) I picked up a warm mist humidifier and a nice misting bottle. I'm sure they are just lovin it now.....got my humidity up to about 40% ! I like CFL's, makes everything just a bit easier, and less expensive.

I'm thinkin of doing a small outdoor grow this year, but I need something nice and hearty that can take the tough NE weather.....any thoughts on this?? I was looking at Danky Doodle...lol!

LOL! Thanks for reminding me to keep the jugs of water in there open....I totally forgot about that!!! My leaves are just too dry so I know they will appreciate a little moisture in there, I did actually pick up the humidifier by the time I read this, but thanks for reminding me about the open jugs, I got 4 in there now :)
