Citi? Vero? Is this the end of Cree?

What would you buy for a 2x3 garden?

  • Get 3 1818s and run them at 75w each on that driver

  • Get 6 1212s and run them at 25w each on that driver

  • Get 3 CXB3590s and run them at 50w each on that driver

  • Get the veros and turn up beast mode @ 140w each with an HLG 240

  • Buy a mars II man, they have great reviews

id buy whatever chips i needed for the next 6-12 mos and reevaluate my options next time i need them, it will be a completely different market in that time

its not that cree is lagging in R and D but it seems they are killing it with their current generation and im sure they are just milking it. the fact that there are other options is a great thing for all of us in the long run as right now were matching HPS efficiency @ $0.15/watt for chips and maybe$ 0.40-0.50/W overall

imagine a year or two from now. hids will be illegal

All it means to me is good competition and improvement. No matter who does it.
This is what spurs innovation and keeps everyone on their toes. This is really good for us as Cree can no longer rest on its Laurels. Sad really as I hear Cree has some internal stuff going on that has them in a weird spot.

kinda explains a lot. we were supposed to have new bins 2 quarters ago and a new series announced last month and neither came to fruition

Was recently in Dubai..... human trafficking or slavery is still going strong, especially Asian and eastern euro women/girls
That's terrible, of course, but do you have any reason to accuse Mars specifically of human trafficking, or did you just see young Asian girls in that video and make a quick assumption?
