Debate with a Trumper (any Trumper)

I honestly don't get the no government types. Have they ever heard of the Hobbesian state of nature? Where life is nasty, brutish, and short? Haven't they seen the post-apocalyptic fantasies in which government collapses for some reason or another? Haven't they read the history of the old Southwest and the history of the West? No government is not a tenable prospect.
Would you believe there was FAR less (less than a 1/3rd) shootings per capita in the "Wild" West as there is now?

When you say "open a business to the public" you seem to be missing the point. Any person who wants to retain ownership choices of who they will do business with or not, obviously isn't "open to the public" (as in everyone), certainly not by their choice anyway. How could they be?

So, before I can address your absurd assertion, you should check your premise.
Does the business have an open sign? If so it's open to the public. If you don't like it.. too bad. Leave the states

Only a genuinely retarded person would reach that conclusion.
You would have to be to not see the obvious answer lol.
In fact comparisons from 1840 and now for the most part are totally worthless and for stuff like murder just plain wetoddid .
But yeah you are smart because you sit on yer ass all day posting in the political section at riu haha.

Sounds about right. Super sad.

I like it when they say how terrible health care is in Canada. I'm a Canadian and have not found that. Have not paid for a single surgery, hospital stay, doctors visit. Sure I've paid through taxes, but it's something I don't mind at all paying for. The peace of mind to know that when there is a medical problem, I can rely on doctors to help me fix it. It's not a perfect system, but it doesn't leave anyone fucked in the end.
Could you tell @sixstring2112 how much you like Canadian health system and how well it works in your experience?

Yeah i seen the post, musta got lucky or is in a better area/system then my friend
so youre only using one persons observation as your facts? thats some concrete shit right there buddy. American health care is amazing, i love waiting rooms and getting asked right off the bat what my insurance is before they even start helping me. last time i went to the ER i had an infected abcess. my face swelled up like a baseball.. couldnt get a dentist appointment until i took care of the infection. went to the hopsital. they asked me about my insurance, this was before i opened my business and i had none. i didnt even get into a room. doctor came up to me in the waiting room.. i waited about 4 hours in the waiting room to have a doctor give me a prescription to penicillin and motrin. ive been in the ER quite a few times for broken bones and shit. always had insurance. everytime they do blood pressure and all that crap to squeeze every penny they can from insurance. without it i couldnt even get 5 minutes of a doctors time

I know right.

Using one person as the argument against universal health care.

Several problems with that. I can't verify it for one. People always don't tell the truth or accurate truth either. We don't know the story of why this particular person if having a rough time with their health care.
