Thanks guys for getting all this worked out with me. You guys are top shelf! Looks like the Easter bunny will be bringing me a assembly project. I need to plan the mounting frame for the 4 boards. The light will be going in a 4x4 mylar tent. This brings me to this question which I have looked for and asked about.

Looking at the Par readings on the grids I have seen there is what I call a definite hot spot in the center tapering off to the edges. I understand you can not get away from that completely. My thoughts are crowding the boards closer to the edge's of tent to bring them pars up and lower the center down for more even coverage. I don't have a light measuring device other then app on phone. Is there a spacing someone has done with readings posted somewhere? I seen the one in the beginning of this thread with 2 boards. Any point or kick in right direction would be great.

Everything is overpriced and the people need some fix to go to that shithole especially in the summer. I would rather hang around fitness freaks then people who think Vegas is cool.

Local clubs in various cities are better. I went there once and never again.

+1 I know our friend on RIU - Yoda dude was shocked at slave labor being used by Vietnamese to grow pot. Big corporations do essentially the same thing.

At least Apple makes a decent product. Nike arguably uses slave labor and their shoes fall apart. Their marketing to inner city youth to buy $250 Jordans is pretty sleazy too. I remember when Nike first came out and they were sold thru mail order companies with skateboard and surfing stuff.

Yeah but isn't Linux just a variation of Bell Labs UNIX?

If you are opposed to slave labor stop buying LEDs they are made in china by slaves, most in shenzhen , in guangdong providence. Buy american get a hortilux, they are hand made in the USA by workers that are properly compensated. These samsung LEDs are made in shenzhen by the way...

bell labs also had a hand in c+ and industrial another forerunner of linux....long rabbit hole huh.

I live in the land of nike and i wont support their garbage. Apple sucks. so does everything else but it has its own special suck.....people who thrive on apple, cant figure out anything else predominantly and love it. good for them.

Agreed. I still know some really good C++ programmers. They do newer languages but when you want fast - C++ is usually the way to go. Apple people have this high moral superiority that is totally f**ed. We are pure because we are not Microshaft.

As far as shoes, I would say I like Asics the best followed by maybe New Balance (NB). NB was making stuff in the USA. Had a pair or running shoes and golf shoes from Nike fall apart from cheap glue. Junk.

Yeah - I want to get to something cooler and that uses less power but SE Hydrofarms have been kicking it with my setup. The local store had a sale on Hortiluxes too. I am using crappy bulbs and it is working. Do they make a difference in flower?

i have an uncle in AL who is like 70 and still a hardcore runner only rocks NB, must be something.....

personally comps/ langs, they all suck to some degree and i consider myself a tech junkie, not trying to say i dont love a good circuit .....but also sometimes its easier to just bust out some paper and a pencil, old shool. :peace:

Yea they have more blue, it's not a huge difference from my experience , just a lil bump in frost/yield but also the bulbs are more reliable and feels good to support american made

Plus i get a little creeped out buying chinese stuff cause there so many weird diseases and viruses in china, they wear masks to walk around outside, so just sketches me out opening a fresh off the boat package from china. You might contract the z virus or leaky dick fever from the mars hydro BBQ party.

Yeah I don't want that. I actually was one of the suckers to buy a 600 watt (288 at the wall) Mars Hydro shitbox. Average to poor in veg and useless in Flower. I was going to steal the drivers out and use them for QBs like the dude with the creepy Golden death mask. That dude rocks.

Amazon and eBay should be arrested for pimping that Chinese burple shit with fake testimonials. F Amazon.

Yea man they got me good with those fake ass testimonials. Whoever sat there and submitted those reviews are the worse kind of scum. Drivers are inefficient but they work.

Hey, looks like the QB took off pretty good. I like them myself. Had an idea that I'm sure others have thought. How about bending a metal reflector to go around either the whole build or each board.
I would do the same to a cob light rather then putting a reflector on each cob.
Just what id do if i built one. I dont build my lights so figured maybe someone else may try it.
Nice work guys!
Good job Robin n Stephen, getting these out to people for a fair cost n good service.
