Bro, that's steel nobody is talking about steel here. You mark the heatsink and put it under the saw and pull down... how much easier could it get? You are left with a factory clean edge and it only took you 2 seconds to finish the cut. I cut hundreds of pieces of extruded aluminum every day, if there were an easier way to do it I would have figured it out by now.

What spectrum would work best for just flowering out a 4x2 tent ? I've been told 2700k or 4000k.

2700 for bloom only. 4000 for both.

ok, if it works i won't argue about it, but i'm pretty sure i'd have to go buy a blade, the old worn out wood blade probly won't do a good job

You would be surprised. An older blade will work fine just go a bit slower. The blade on my saw at my station at work isn't fit to cut a 2x4 cleanly but it's still kicking cutting aluminum.

I did that on my tippy toes on the top of an eight foot ladder. Reaching up as far as I could to cut the rough end off of one of the screen room posts. The saw bound and I lost my balance for a quick second and then that same thought went through my head.

Harbor freight chop saw probably 2x expense of right blade for bandsaw, use the tool you got save the floor space for now, get a good proper tool if you want to make more than a few.

Something tells me if you have a horizontal band saw you probably have a chop saw lol.

This board replaced a cxb3590@~80w. The QB is dialed down to about 80w while I fine tune the distance to the plants.

I got a DeWalt chop saw at an auction for $35.00. Damn handy tool, even if I don't have need of it often.
