do my leaves look ok ?

I think I read somewhere that you should do what ever it is you want to do with em (topping/FIM/supercrop aso) atlest a week .. maybe 2 weeks before putting them in to flowering ..

I think the idea is to give em enough time to recover and get back to growing before you put em in to flowering ?

dunno ? just what I read some wher ..

I might try super croping then (on the FIM plant as it need it most ;))

will try to read that/some threads about it to day and get a better picture of it and see if it is sumthing for me ..

tho I was planing to "use" them 2 plants to try out diffrent stuff and find out what I like .. so why not ..
Yea, I wait a week or two to flower after topping...but I'm not sure if you need to do that with LST or super-cropping, as both are much gentler than cutting the top bud off.

But I just put 4 wonder womans under my HPS and their are about 12-14 main branches, and only 6 of them are at the top, just like with yours. So I supercropped the day I put them into 12/12...and 3 days later they had already perked back up, so either way it looks like they're fine. I think I'm a little gentler than I'm supposed to be when I supercrop...but it's hard to intentionally bend them like that lol, I feel like a bully.

question: the FIM plant have 12 shoots .. 6 of them is all about same hight (at the top) other 6 is growing up and are close ..
schould I super crop (bend) all 12 ? or just the 6 witch is the highest once ?

question 2: as they are small in hight and is FIM/LST and to start with is indica they are .. hmmm how to explain it .. looking for the english word ..

(Ooh yea and let me use this to apologize for my english .. it is only my second languages and it is a long time since I was in school :) just ask if ther is sumthing I need to explain and thanks for all the help so fare)

well they are getting full of leaves so to speak if you know what I mean ..

let me post a pic.

not much light is getting down to the bottom leaves/shoots ..

schould I thin them out (remove some leaves) or just let it be ?

read somewher that the plant is useing its leaves for sun/food aso. so removeing them is`t the best idea ..

and some say it need air flow and the bottom shoots dont grow in to anything usefull anyway so might aswell remove em to give the top shoots all the effort ?

dunno ??
Answer 1: Only super-crop the top ones. The idea is that the six lower ones will be decide to grow upwards as colas themselves (this has less to do with them being closer to the light and more to do with "auxins")

Answer 2: I think the english word you're looking for is BUSHY. :bigjoint: And no worries, you're English is still much better than my sign language lol. And I gotta start learning Spanish too so I can teach it to the kids. Spain may be in our future, this country is a BIG shithole lol.

And ok, here's my take on trimming leaves. Everyone that says that the leaves are the "energy producers" and that they are what makes the buds grow big....are right. And the people that say you get scraggly buds on the bottom if you don't trim some leaves off....are also right.

But most people have a strong opinion one way or another, so just use common sense with it instead of listening to what other people say.

Now that being said, your plants are already very big, and will double in size the first two weeks of 12/12. So if they were my plants, I would trim some leaves and THEN SOME. But try to do as much trimming as you can before the flower. Are you familiar with "lollipopping"?

I grow my plants similarly to how you do. I want a 2-3 foot plant with 10-16 colas, that fit inside of a 18" thin plastic coated tomato cage. I can fit 4 plants/cages in a 3'x3' area, and all the colas stay inside the circle. I used to use stakes but stakes just make it easier for mites to crawl up...

I cut off any of the bottom branches that are thin and flimsy. If they are strong and could catch up almost in height to the other ones I'll leave it. But either way I scalpel/trim off ALL the nodes/leaves 4-6 inches from the soil or base of the plant. Some people trim everything from 4-6 inches DOWN FROM THE TOP, especially with SCROG setups, but that's crazy to me. I use the scraggly bottom stuff for hash or for salads anyways.

But what I don't want is DIRTY scraggly stuff at the bottom of the plants from watering. And also it's easier for mites to attack the lower stuff and move up.

Then, once they've stretched out after 2 weeks of 12/12, I put the tomato cages on, and if there are any fan leaves that are just plain blocking the light from reaching leaves on the bottom, I'll pinch some off or try to pin them down under other leaves. But usually I don't have to pull off much if any.

about the tarp zipper .. this is like crazy .. never tryd anything like this ... must be a American invention and must be like copyrightet ?

since I cant find it in any stores here in Europe ?? nothing .. zip .. zero .. nothing even close ??

when I search/google it I get a lot of hits .. but after going through 3-4 pages with like 20-30 suggestions (all amarican/canadian shops)

I have`t found anything ? tho I found out you can get em from between 8 and 12 $ :)

so might just try and order it .. also since I think to remember sumthing about a minor limit for taxes ?
dunno just know that I had to pay tax and it did take a long time .. once I orderd a special excust for my 500 ccm bike ..

lets see ..

and let me know how the Blue Dream turns out (picturs would be kool) I have been thinking of trying them out in the future/next grow .. look/sounds awsome ..
Ebay won't ship to you? They're all over ebay if you type tarp zip.

And here ya go. You'll be looking at some stuff like this in two more months.

and some more in case anybody still watching ?

did finish it to day .. more or less .. only need the ventilation (get it in 2 days)

View attachment 2190150

finish the out take and rail for the cover so its ready for the ventilation and cover ..

View attachment 2190165

made a intake "box" to shild the plants from out side light ..

View attachment 2190169

only open in the fare end .. so light cant leake and so the intake air will go through the room passed the plants ..

View attachment 2190173

did also fit some white/black plastic .. got some from work .. but a small role ..

and damn it !!!
you would think them who designed it was taking the piss of you .. realy .. made so it dont stick at all to anything but it self !!!!

pretty anoying when you try to put it up

not pretty .. but pretty happy with it :)

did also use silicone inside and white silicone rubber outside (2 of each :)) so it schould be 110% air/light tight

Ooh yea and plants from to day ..

the FIM is so sick now .. so many shoots :)

View attachment 2190184

can hardly fit it under the 6 T5 tubes so cant wait to get it in under my 600W HPS

and do smell a lot more now .. so Im glad I did take your advice Doctor .. in 3 days or so they will be in the room ..

the LST is also comming on fine .. but not as many shoots .. but I guess its ok since it still have its main shoot ..

View attachment 2190186

ps.

exatly day 40 to day from seed came up the ground :)
Oh, my bad didn't realize I was a couple days behind in your posts lol. This site has been all messed up lately...you should take the lollipop advice though, those girls are gonna be big and healthy. You got em in 5 gal pots yet?

The room looks badass man. That spot worked out perfect for you. I'm still super-behind on work, I haven't even started building the second tent in the veg room.

I officially started my project using high PK compost tea as my flower boost. I'm about the flip the plants next week. It'll be a side by side with 2 OG Kush getting Humboldt Natural Bloom (liquid rock phosphate) for P and 2 OG Kush getting just the high PK compost tea for P during flower. I'm hoping to get away from using any and all phosphate products and then hopefully by next year getting away from bottles almost completely. As soon as I publish the journal I'll give you the link.

The FIM plant looks awesome man, that technique is no joke lol.

ok .. 99% done .. only thing missing is the carbon filter (I`ll get that tomorrow)

pictures is`t the best and I still have`it fitted the ventilation probably yet as I dont want to do it before I have the filter aswell

DSC00507.jpg ..
my new vent... seems allright ?

two settings 145/187 M3 a hour (my room is like M9) so thats like 20,7 times a hour my air is exchanges (on max) ..
so like evry 3th minut .. guess it might be a bit less when I add the filter ? but I schould still be able to vent it like evry 5 minut Im sure ..

DSC00515.jpg

like I said .. not fitted probably yet .. just a littel tape and not even strait .. will do it right once I have the filter tomorrow ..

now I just wanted to make it all work :)

but I do have a question (will also ask it els wher for a quick response)

when my room is seald and I turn the vent on .. my rubber curtan is getting sucked in so to speak ?

its pretty air tight .. I was fist thinking it might be my 200 my net on the intake .. so I remove it .. did help a littel it seems .. well I can now feel the air being fulld in .. and can see it useing smoke .. but curtan is still getting sucked in (like 2 inchs or so)

but temperture is good it seems ?

out side the room 75F

inside the room like 78F

and like 4 inches above the plant tops near the light it is like 82 or so ..

but is this normal ? that the vent is so strong ? or is my intake still to small ?

a few pics:

DSC00509.jpg

dont know if you can see it ? (picture is also sideways !)

(p.s. WitchDoctor@ found out that the dust door had a nice tick black zipper with clue on the back side .. workd very well .. got some black tick rubber from work for free of course)

DSC00510.jpg

maybe better ?

pitch black in ther .. nice .. but Im not sure my intake is big enough ? or if I schould remove the perforatet plate ?

spain is nice .. (1-2 hour by flight from me .. come visit me :))

nice climat and Ppl. and food .. and hash .. but be carefull with that (grow your own ;) nice out side climat for that ;)

I once got some "fake" hash on vacation on gran canaria and even wors .. was like inches away from being caught by the cops with it !

payd over price .. did`t work .. and was close to being arrestet ..

just manage to trow it away as I saw them comming (guess that was my own fault as I was drunk .. sitting at the mall makeing a joint on the bench :)

lollipopping

I have read a bit .. it means to remove all the bottom growth .. right ? cept the main stem of course ;)
will begin to remove some of the bottom once near the dirt (have done a few as I dont like em touching the dirt)

got em in the room now under my 600W HPS .. think with the room now working and filter tomorrow ...
I will keep em under the HPS for like a week or two more of 18/6 (maybe 16/8 ?) and veg em some under it .. know it is 2100 Kelvin .. but Im sure they like the more bright light (maybe I dont have to remove so much of them low shoots then ?)

Ooh yea and nice buds Bro :) cant wait myself .. I guess in like 2 more weeks of veg and then like 8 weeks or flowering ..

so 10 weeks .. need a week or two more to cure some .. but I know I cant wait and will dry some in the micro ;) (some lower buds)

also one more question .. as it take to plant 2 weeks or so from 12/12 to begin flowering .. do you then count them in to the Veg time ? or flower time ?
I mean Im in week 6 now from seed .. if it is meant to be countet as veg time I schould move em soon as they will be in week 8 then before flowering starts ... or is it considerd flowering as soon you switch to 12/12 ?

not 5 gallons .. 26 liters = about 7 gallon ;)

and yea room is nice .. got some nice tick black rubber mat to day (for free as usealy ;) like 3 mil. tick
the dust cover I was talking about (10$ in my local shop) was a clear plastick cover .. but zipper was by it self :) tick black one with realy sticky glue on the back side .. cleand the rubber .. put it on .. open it and cut with a stanly knife all the way down cept 4 inches top/bottom

works great .. naild it up and seald it with gaffa boath outside and in (tho removeing the plants now will be schetsy and will be impossible in like 4 weeks ..

about all them nutriens .. tea and stuff .. not sure about anything yet.. one more thing I have to look in to .. did just go with the simple "nub proof" start kit (floraduo) .. also need to find out when to use the Rip. (last 2 weeks it sais on the bottel .. but I think I read some wher you schould stop last week and flush with wather ?)

Room looks real nice man. I'd take off the pipe or whatever coming out of the opening in pic 4 if you can, and just put a fake register, like for the heating cooling in your house, the actual plate or cover for those or whatever. It'll just look like an air return or a heat vent to your room.

I have the same problem with my intake and my tents being sucked in a little. I think I have to have some kind of fan or booster bringing air into the growspace as well as the fan pumping it out. you may have to as well.

I'd visit you for sure man. And the biggest reason we'd choose Spain is because of their cannabis laws. A friend of mine's gf of 5 years is from Spain and works for the UN so they travel with her job, but they're planning on moving there in 5 years and I'm hoping to be able to move my family around the same time.

Lollipopping, you don't actually have to remove the lower branches if they are strong, but yea you'd wanna remove any of the lower growth on the branches, strip them bare. But if the lower brances are thin and flimsy take them off. The resulting plant will look like a lollipot, hence the name.

And yea, the first 2 weeks (give or take a few days depending on strain) is technically still considered vegetative growth, which is why I use the term "flip" a lot to describe putting them in 12/12, so that it's not confusing. But once you go to 12/12 whether it's still vegging or flowering, I try not to remove any growth that I don't have to. The 12/12 is what tells the plant to proceed forward with the rest of it's life, so I look at it like the vegging plants are little kids with soft bones that heal well, and flipping them turns them into 25 year olds lol. They get fucked up, they pretty much stay that way lol.

a fake register .. hehe exatly what I have been thinking ;)

and yea Ill remove the tube .. once I have the filter so I know how much to cut off (might need some of it to connect the filter aswell)

and yea I ask in the grow room desine thread and got like the same answers (bigger passiv intake ... or a intake fan/vent. .. or turn down the fan)

guess Ill try to remove the plate fist .. lets see .. not so bad and one guy also toald me that negativ presure is a good thing ..
only problem if I completly remove the plate in the intake is that light then can leak in ?

so if the 2 weeks is considering veg I might switch to 12/12 soon .. maybe next week (then Im done with week 6 from seed)

do some lollipoping doing the weekend ..

done !

all is in place (only minor cosmetic changes need to be made)

DSC00517.jpg

filter is on (did buy a nice and littel more expensiv one .. better quality and can be refild .. cost like 75$)

did bring down the vent. as expected .. curtan still get suged in but only slightly so I guess thats perfect ..
smell is allready a lot less (½ hour later :))

though temperture have gone up a bit .. like 5F from around 78 to 83 and more like 85-86 under the HPS :S
dunno .. if it stays like that Im kool with 86F at the hottest point .. but Im a bit concernd about them hot summer days that soon will come agin ?

was thinking if it made any diffrent if I used the filter as a "scrup" filter ?
I mean mount it on the out side so the vent blows trough it insted of sugging ?

I know I might get some carbon in my room .. but I was thinking it might changes the air flow so I could get it down on 78-82F agin .. that way I might be able to crontrole it when summer comes so I can stay under 85F ..

85 is gonna be too hot for most strains. If you can't get it under 80 at the hottest part of the day, you'll wanna get a small AC unit or something.

I liked your intake, I'd like to figure out a way for you to keep using it. It's good to keep pests and light out. Have you thought of putting like a small "box fan" (I'm not sure if that's what you call it outside of US) inside the room right in front of the intake, so that it's pulling air in a little bit?

I think the person who told you negative pressure is good was wrong...negative pressure makes the blower fan have to work harder and wears it out. A little bit of negative pressure is ok.

And yea, the first 2 weeks of 12/12 are EXPLOSIVE vegetative growth. You might not see a lot the first week. But the second week is like BOOM. So make sure you keep the plants at least 18-24 inches from the light for those two weeks, or else the branches will stretch out. After that you can keep it 14-18 inches away as long as it's under 80 in there.

hmmm .. I think I read between 72 and 85 is perfect (78 is spot on)

dunno just what I read .. also 85 is like 30 degress celcuse .. and about a normal hot summer day .. schouldnt they be able to handle that ?

box fan .. hmmm have a tower ventilation .. reccon I can put that in if that draw air in ? dunno ? have a "normal" table vent. in ther pointet at the HPS and the outtake on max ..

dunno if I can do much more cept maybe fit a intake aswell .. maybe a small one I saw .. like for a bathroom you know the one you said was`t enough for outtake .. maybe fit one of them at the intake to help it pull air in ?

and it is not much negativ presure now .. just enough I guess so it dont let air/smell out ..

lets see .. or I just have to flower/doing 12/12 at night or use the T5 at realy hot days ?

Tower-Fan-FZ20-40A-RC.jpg.gif

ok .. got a tower fan .. sumthing like this one..

I removed the stand so its only a square box and laying it down on the floor in the room really close to the intake .. fill 3/4 or it .. with only like a inch free on top ..

and it seems to work so fare .. I can feel the cool air being spread around (on my feet and legs) so atlest it dont go directly to the outtake ..
also a bit more Breeze in the room now .. leaves is moving a bit more .. guess it might solve it ? I hope ..

1½-2 feet away from the HPS it is like 86F and room is like 84F now so pretty close (if 85F is ok)

think I read most places that 72-78 is perfect but 78-85 is still ok and no problem .. fist when it hit 90F it become a real problem and shows in the plant unless you have co2 of course then 90F is perfect as I understand it ?

+ WitchDoctor +

Supposedly you can go UP to 90 with co2, but I try not to go over 85. And without co2 you don't wanna go over 80. But if you can't get it under 85, you could look up which strains can take higher temps and get seeds for those. If you wanna run co2, you'll increase your yields by about 20% or so, but you'll have to get at least a small portable a/c unit or some kind of water cooled a/c or something. You can set timers to run the co2 for 15 minutes at a time, but you have to turn the fan of while it's dumping co2. The co2 is heavier than air so it sinks to the ground, then the timer turns the fans back on and the co2 mostly stays down there.

Without co2 you honestly wanna keep it under 80 at 18 inches from the bulb. Or you'll get at least a little stress, and it'll affect the yield.

Slipon

Well-Known Member
ok well fist of all I know a lot about Co2 (even tryd to make a DIY one .. just for the funn of it :) yester/sugar bottel .. workd perfectly)

but I also work as a smet and weld on daily bases ..
I could even get the ventils for free as they are in a box at work collecting dust as the new bottels have it inbuild now a days ..

and Im sure I could get the bottel cheap aswell ..

but .. all the "trouble" with timers .. ventilation stop start Co2 tubes and bottels .. remember it is still my bedroom :)

and that also give me the biggest reason not to go that way ... realy dont like that combo ;)
if the vents fail doing the night Im gone .. silincesly with out knowing it ..

and this is also begining to get "out of controle" if you know what I mean .. to start with I just wanted 2 small plants under some t5 tubes ... now I have a room with ventilation and a 600W HPS :)

not ready to do much more out of it .. atlest not for now .. still need to make all them new things work for me and get use to growing basics ..

I have been looking for strains that can handle more heat .. stavia seems to be the choise .. not a problem anymore as my room is 8 feet high to the sealing and I got that 600W HPS .. so might go that way ..

also .. this morning after 1-2 hours with the HPS on the temp. was "only" like 78F in the room and 80F at plants tops/25 inches from the light ..
so not that bad ... and have also been buzy .. couldnt sleep .. got up as normaly 5 a clock (dont have work to day tho)

so I have been fitting some plastic at the end of the room .. to make it smaller .. (like 3x7 feet insted of 3x9 feet) .. so my vent. might do a even better job .. just the last 2 feet or so .. the empty space in the end of the room I did`t use atall ..

so think I have a 4,5 M3 room now insted of a 5 - 5,5 M3 room ..

also remove the perforatet plate .. so atlest double the intake .. hopefully this is enough to keep the temps around that 78-80F mark doing the day .. if so Im kool since that means im just in the sweet spot most of the year and when them hot summer days arrives I will hopefully be able to keep it under controle (under 85)

still playing with the idea about fitting the tower fan so it sticks out of the intake (pull air from out side and blow in to the room directly) will look at that if it becomes a proble later on ..

but damn I got a chock this morning .. realy scared :)
as I did the work on the room and moved a few things around I did unplug the HPS and move it to another plug so cord was`t in the way ..
but would turn on agin !!!!!
arrrhhhh my brand new lamp :(

you know Im a nub .. so I did`t know it takes it a wile to light up agin after you unplug it (hope that is the case ?) as it did light up agin with in 20 seccons .. but damn I was sad them 20 seccons .. allready begining to think of T5 fixtures and cost of new bulbs/lamps :)

another thing I find kind a funny .. as you begon to talk about my plants would begin to smell like 1-2 weeks ago .. they began to smell more and more .. last 2 days I was even anoyd by it ..

but damn that carbon filter is effectiv :) half a hour and most smell was gone .. a few hours and it was totaly gone (to me atlest)
when I tryd to turn it off with the light it did only take like a hour and the stink was back .. was begining to get realy nasty .. also mixed with all the new wood in the room and the allmost 3 tubes of silicone I use to air/light proof it and the 2x1 meter rubber mat for the entrance did also smell a lot ... remember it is my bedroom :)

but now all is normal .. THANK YOU !!!!

ps.
had to turn it on agin .. but had no problem sleeping from the ventilation ;) as I allways have sleepd like a rock .. give me 2 minuts and Im out (well if I smoke that is ;))

sorry for the messy post ... still early .. guess I need a "grandpa" later (1-2 hours on the sofa ;))

Lol, I call a "grandpa" a shot of whiskey with butterscotch snapps lol.

And yea, with magnetic and sometimes electronic ballasts it takes a while for the light to warm back up. Make sure to have a light on and the tent open if you have to unplug it in the future, plant stress.

My white widows smell so strong when we trim them that my wife has to smoke another strain to get rid of the headache them white widow smell gives her lol. I just switched to white rhino to give us a break lol.

Yea, co2 is a huge pain in the ass. I haven't even hooked mine back up in months since i started the tents.

If you can get that new fan to fit right in the intake and blow in that would be your best bet.

Slipon

Well-Known Member
hehe yea well I had my grandpa now .. so Im fresh .. need to go and buy some smoke tho .. all out :(

yet another 100$ going out the window .. plus the ride (½ hour on my bike) the cost of gas and the posibility of meeting the Cops ..

so you say if I turn off the light in ther I either need another light on or remove the plants fist ?

do it realy stress them to get like 5 minuts of dark time ? I mean its just like a big cloud I reccon ?

Ooh well .. normaly I would remove em .. up to now I have done work on my tent/room wile the plants got water/sprayd in the bathroom ..
but it will be a pain in the @ss to remove em from the room now .. will water them in ther now with a tray under them to collect runn off ..
will be a lot more easy then trying to pull them out the zipper door :)

I was also thinking about some white strain next .. or the blue dream .. but nomather what I guess I try a sativa next .. did choose the kush stain for the low hight as it did fit for my former room and my T5 .. but with a floor to sealing room and a 600W HPS I reccon sativa would work great ..

but I would also like a strain/plant that can do with high heat and maybe dont smell as much (like realy bad male cat piss) .. maybe one of them who smells like lemon or sumthing like that ? I will do the research when times come .. would like to start them out on a table with 2 tube T5 so I have nice small seedlings ready to move in after haverst ..

and about the fan .. not new ;)
a old one I had .. was useing it before .. but like now I used it to pull fresh air in (it was under the table I had before ..

it could easily fit in the intake .. its like 4 inchs shorter so only need to make it fit in hight .. need a inch more clearing I guess...

I could do it so the opening that blows air out .. is in the grow room and the holes wher it pulls air is sticking out side in the "cooler" room so it only take fresh cool air in and only blows it out inside the room .. but I wont begin to work on that before it might become a problem (90F)

as it is working allright now I guess .. its inside the grow room now .. like right next to the intake .. so air that is pulld in have to go pass it like a inch away from the air intake .. so it schould catch some of that fresh air and send it pass the floor and up the wall oppiset to the outtake ..

seems to work .. for now .. 80F in the room all the time and 20 inches away from the HPS its like 82-85

Putting your hand over the plants would be like a big cloud lol. Even a full eclipse of the sun, which is very rare, wouldn't leave the plants in complete darkness as far as I know, so even just a few minutes (more like 20-30 depending on the ballast) could stress the plant into vegging, slowing down, or affecting it some other way. It varies by strain as well.

Blue Dream is a little bit stinky. But it's amazing. If you wanna avoid smell do a fuely strain. Any of the strains that say they're fuely like OG Kush, Sour Diesel, and mexican land race sativas. Nirvana's Elderado might be a good choice for you, check it out.

I like the fan on the intake idea and putting the blower inside the room, but you're right no need to worry about it right away unless it gets too hot.

I was supposed to get some work done today....but I spent 3 hours picking up a 275 gallon cistern for rain water lol. You saving your rain water? The plants fucking love that shit.

lol ok .. I will remember that .. tho this was like 20 minuts after the light got on .. so it was early and they are still in Veg .. but Ill be carefull with the light in the future ..

mexican land race sativas ....hmmm sounds like sumthing that can handle heat .. and if it dont smell bad it could for sure be a possibility .. Ill look in to it some more ..

and about rain wather .. I will now .. well try agin .. have tryd before ..
but I have to put like a bucket at my balcony and when I tryd I got like a inch in two hours of rain !!!!

so kind a forgot it ..
also since we have realy clean wather here in Denmark .. no clorin added .. no need as it is so clean .. we drink it right out of the tap (have allways been able to do that here) its ground wather .. comes from 90 feet down keepd for 100 of years in lime stones .. so a bit alkaline (7-8 PH) so I have to add PH down to get it to 6,5

and yea I wont worry about temps. for now .. seems like its stable at around 29 celcius in ther and maybe 31-32 close to the light .. so only like a few degress celcius over the perfect ..

if it do becomes hotter (close to 35C)I will act on it .. try to add the fan directly in the intake .. or runn lights at night .. or buy one more 100mm ventilation .. then I can runn boath at hot days and only one at night/winther time .. maybe ?

Ooh yea a qucik question .. if the light can stress the plants as you say .. if I choose to runn it at night .. how would I do it ?
I mean either I would have to runn the light for sumthing like 27-28 hours or give em a dark time on 18 hours the fist time .. or maybe do it a littel at the time .. I mean swarp it around ...

If they are still in veg, light problems usually won't stress it the way it would if they're in flower. I have some strawberry coughs that show pistils at the slightest stress, but all my other plants veg ok if the light goes off for a few....but in flower it's another story.

You can keep the light on for longer if you need to right before you flower them. Just make sure when you start 12/12 nothing gets interupted.

Do you have gutters? Check this out. It's for a 3 barrel system, but you can just make one smaller one the same way...https://www.rollitup.org/gardening/525782-simple-roughneck-3-barrel-rain.html

That's good that you have good water there then, no fluoride it in either? That's the one I worry about, chlorine evaporates.

ther nothing in it at all ..

did visit my local wather plant web site to check it ..

they got a VERY detaild data/Overview of what it contains ..
even with dates when they check it .. like evry month or seccon month as fare as I can see .. with detaild comments of PH and minirals aso. ..

our wather is sitting in the ground (ground wather) and is 100-1000 years old .. been naturaly filtert trough lime stone so its totaly clean (can seel it in bottels Im sure)

only thing they do to it is runn it trough two diffrent filters .. as fare as I can understand .. to just filter dirt and particals from it ..

you know wather is kind a special thing here in Denmark .. bottel wather is kind a "new" thing .. well maybe like 10-20 years .. dont remember it from when I was a child .. you did`t buy wather .. unless at a resturant .. but mostly they sell tab wather with ice ..

wather is goverment controled and sumthing we take very seriously ..

btw

couldnt help my self .. got a idea to day .. and had to try it out .. if it turns out good Ill buy some plastic tubeing and do it "right"

got a intake over each window in my appartment .. you can feel the air flow .. specialy when open complatly .. I removed it the other day to give it max flow in to my room for fresh air .. its like 20x2 inchs ..

so suddenly I got this idea ..

just made out of cardbord (had plenty from all the lamps/ventilations ASO.)
if it turns out to work Ill buy some cheap plastic tubeings .. maybe some of them you also use for rain wather at roofs .. will make it slightly bigger then my out take ..

DSC00553.jpg

dunno if you can see it on the picture .. but curtan is getting sugd in .. a few inches .. dunno if it is to much .. guess the in take that is like same size as out take is a bit small .. dunno if this will be a bad thing ?

DSC00554.jpg

made a hatch so I can controle it .. so it dont take to much cold air in at night aso.
when I open it the curtan is relaxing .. I bet fresh air is still running in to the box as I could fell the cold flow all the way down the "tube" wile I made it (before I connectet to the box) so pretty good air flow in and I bet with the negativ presure it is suggeing the fresh air in ..

will watch temps now .. but I think I allready can see it dropd from 85 to 83 or so .. lets see .. still early .. might need a bigger tube and/or a small fan/pc fan to help it pull air in .. tho with a good flow in all the way down to the box and a good presure in the box I think its ok ?

Ooh yea .. made a small changes ..

taped up the hatch agin and made a small one in the end of the box ..

behind the fresh air intake .. so the air is getting pulld pas the fresh air comming in ..

the fresh air schould drop to the box as it is cold ... and when I stick the hand in it also feel so .. so maybe it is half and half now ?

as I have the small new hatch on half open so to speak (is 4x4") just enough open so I have a slightly negativ presure ..
just so I can see the curtan dont get blow out and is maybe a 1/4 a inch inwords .. so no smell can escape ..
