Just what I have on hand Doc, Nothing special. The closest I get to a mix of herbal delight is some hash mixed in with me bud. I hope you had a great Easter weekend. Sorry to see your thread was infested with trolls over the holiday. It seems your thread always stays busy even though your not around on the weekends. I must say you've got quite the cult following going on over there.

Take care Doc.

Sadly I'll have to agree.

Thank you and welcome aboard. The NL5 will finish in nine to ten weeks if you get the right pheno. Unfortunately this one here is not one of them. It's more of a sativa dominate pheno and that's why it's taking forever to finish. Also I'm speculating it's taking longer to finish because of the pH lockout I've been experiencing with it. I'm starting to think it's not getting the proper nutrients to finish correctly. My reasoning behind this is because the plant I clipped the clone from finished in 11weeks on my last run with it. So there is another good reason to keep your plants happy a healthy. I started to change my feeding schedule for this final round. During round two I fed every watering with no flush in the end. During round 3 I'm only feeding every other watering and so far so good the plant's are looking great but we'll have to see if that trend continues.
let me add some corroboration here, i had a late finisher of this strain, very late finisher
it took at least 11 weeks for me, and even that was a bit too edgy for me, took 12 weeks to tame it properly
but then, i don't cope well with edgy anymore

Thanks for that bit of info my friend. Glad to have your knowledge and input on my thread. I have two pheno's of this strain going. One that finishes in 9 weeks with a heavy hitting stone and this one that is supposed to finish in 11 weeks. The high is not as hard hitting as the first pheno, It's more of an uplifting type of high, the kinda high where you can still get stuff done during the day. That's why I kept her around.

Peace.

glad to see this strain has its fans, it really is a quality product
when i say edgy, probably was not giving its due, at 11 weeks it was too strong for me
it was like a review i had read about it, where it was described as a 'white knuckle, hold onto your chair for dear life' kind of rush
at least for the 1st week or so, built up some tolerance, guess you never know how a given plant will affect you

Know what you mean. When I first started smoking it, it blew me away. Now that I've grown accustomed to it I'm smoking twice as much. It's still an awesome smoke though, I'm just glad I had a chance to grow it out a few times. Now if everything goes as planed I'll be growing out some Pineapple Express next.

Peace.

looking good drop :bigjoint:

edit:how tall are they right now? about how big were they when you stated flowering?
Hmm I think they were around 12 to 14 inches when I flipped em. Five of em are 25 inches tall and the 4 longer flowering ones are about 30 inches.

Smoked me another sampler today and It just keeps getting better. I've decided I'm chopping her down Saturday or Sunday no matter what. It's just gone on long enough. 14 weeks has been like and eternity to me and It's time to move on. I'm planning on getting rid of most of it anyway.

Hey those photos, I swear your plants are posing, no shit, they look like they are posing!!! Did you scrog this grow? Or just they way they grow out? Looking stellar as always....

Haha that's because I've been whippin em into shape. There's no scrog in my closet, it's more like sog I guess and it's just the way they grow out brother. All I did was let em grow and trim the bottoms up with some super cropping here and there. This strain doesn't know how to grow anything but big fat buds. I'll be sorry to let it go but I gotta move on and get some different strains going around here.

yeah, same here, did grow it for over a year
but i made a nl#5 x cali-o cross, i think this is a promising strain for the home breeder(like you say the fat buds)

I hear ya, I just let mine grow out natually, the Blue Widow is always short/bushy in the back of the closet, but she will stretch higher than the Gold by harvest. But for the most part, they are all pretty even.... Yeah, my next grow will be underway in a month or so
with 4-5 new strains, that's if I can geminate them successfully....... last time I did poorly, under 35% success rate

Thanks Doc. Those were taken with the lights off. That's really the only way to show what the plants truly look like without the HPS beating down on em. But normally I just take shots when I feel like it. That day just it so happened I felt the itch to snap some shots right about the time the lights went out.

Thanks bro. I've never had problems with spider mites and hope I never do. Knock on wood.

This feed no feed schedule I got em on seems to working out pretty well so far. I'm thinking when I feed em, they're not using up all the nutes before the pot drys out three days later. So the next time I've just been given em straight pH-ed water with a little Mag-Pro and Pro-Tekt. I think it's been letting the plants use up what nutes are left in the soil before the next feeding. At the same time I'm decreasing the amount of built up salts that remain in the pot.

I don't know, I'll just have to wait and see if the trend continues.

Check y'all later.

Thanks bro. I know you would like the NL5 because It's a huge producer with a good heavy hitting stone. For me not so much on the heavy hitting stone anymore but now and then it still hits me hard.

Peace.
