4-29-12...right at 20 days from sprout.

I have 2x42w Flower and 3x23w daylight CFL's. Im doing "Supernaturals" hydro feeding schedule with some of "Botanicares" hydro feeding regiment. Im also using "Tarantula Beneficial Microbes". I have that small pump in the reservoir to keep the nutrients solution mixed...I do fresh water and nutrient changes weekly. Typical DIY carbon filter with a schythe haze cpu fan running air threw it.

Hook a 1/8 tube to the water pumps outlet for easy water changes:clap:

Sorry do not have more info...I'm moving to rollitup from ICmag because i have been waiting 2 weeks for them to activate my new account...ridiculous!!! Anyway I will post more and more information as I remember or im asked

Any questions ask away...Thats why im here

I would be very very careful when shopping for an LED fixture.. the picture in that link there are two dead LEDs, kinda skep right off the back if you ask me. You want to look for two main spectral wavelengths, red and blue being the highest priority

Here is a thread on RIU that helped me understand what spectrum LED's are needed, and if they're a little bit off, the results wont be as great
https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/358190-led-without-leds-my-first.html

I was considering buying two 50-70w (?) panels ($60) from a cheap distributor.. but they did not list the spectrum of the LEDs they were using.. so I backed off lol. I'm pretty set on a 150w HPS for $70 bucks, just because it's proven that HPS works great

The non lit bulbs are link to the other bright white bulbs. They take turns coming on and off to keep them from gettin to hot and burning out. The lighthouse Blackstar lights are in the top 5 best led grow lamps. Check this website out.

I really want the all in one 150 watt hps but im so afraid of heat. my cab runs now between 86-90 with lights on. So if the led works as good as it says...then i wouldnt need to worry as the reviews all say +5* over ambient temps. Think im gonna just save up and get it. There only 7" dia so if i need to i can fit one more. Plus very low running cost.

5/4/12....Did some more trimming...Should I Flip her to 12/12?????
randoms 054.jpgcannot wait:)

I'd go for a 250w HPS as those integrated 150's emit a lot of heat in comparison. The 250 watter you can keep the ballast outside of the cab the ballasts contribute to a lot of heat. I run a smaller cabinet than you do and am rocking a 250 with perfect temps. LED's are a bit expensive and surprisingly hot, in my VEG section I'm running a 90w UFO and temps were getting into the high 30's (Celsius) and that's only with the 1w led diodes.

Depends how much height you have with regards to switching to 12/12 they'll go 2-3x taller than they are in the flowering period so measure up :)

But i cant fit most the 250w hps hoods in there. The 150 I can cut 4" exhaust in it....Think im diffidently gonna wait for leds to get a little more common. My budget for a light is 130 bones...Im up to any suggestions. I seen a 20" x 18" piece of glass at work today that im gonna try and buy from my boss. Thinking about mounting the glass directly under the cfls. I have 2 80mm fans blowing directly on the lights atm. with that glass it should push the heat right over to the filter....in theory....Gonna upload some new pics in cpl mins...peace and fire!
