First CFL grow purple jems in PC case

Sounds good. You want to slowly get it down to 10 or 15% moisture. Then your good for long term storage

OK cool,, it is not totally dry so I should be good. Smells good in the jar LOL

What happens when you hang it. Is you dry the outside of it. There is still moisture in the middle. When you put it in the jar you draw that moisture out of the center. Back into the outside material. Burping it once a day will let some of that moisture out a little at a time. Then when you think you are close you burp once a week till you get it prefect. I believe the longer you take the better it will be. For me the idea is to get to like 10 to 15% moisture evenly throughout the bud, and to take as long as I can getting there.

But didn't you say this is your first harvest. Yeah you'll be lucky to get it in to the jar without smoking it all. lol

I have read that the purple strains will show more color when growing in cooler temps...just ordered my purple jems this morning from Attitude and can't wait to give them a try.... also am receiving 7 feminized freebies with my order so if you are in need of seeds check them out...freebies end tomorrow

LoL did the same! Awesome Dec promo they have. GL on the purple jems they look awesome! I ordered some White rhino, Church and Sweet Tooth along with all those freebies.

I heard that the cooler temps did that but then I had several that really seem to know there stuff say it does not matter and that some just don't get purple. I grew mine in low 70's and under that even at night. That is a good deal at attitude for sure.

Look at dutchbreed.com If you want good freebies. They gave more of the seeds I ordered for free. Not seeds I didn't need. So far 100% germ rate to.

I freakin got seeds it worked and I am happy. Also a friend told me it was some really good smoke nice long buzz. It don't kick your ass but comes on in waves and seems to last for long time for me. So officially I now know how to breed at least on a beginners level, first grow and first breeding, I am pretty proud I guess. Thank you guys for all the help

Thank I was really excited since it was my first for both things at once. I still have some pollen for some other plants. next I wanna cross an AutoHaze female with a purple jem male. This is so much fun my wife thinks I am goofy LOL

Here is another plant(purple jems) at 10 days old. Much bigger and better looking then the last at around the same age. I spray at least twice daily with super foliage spray. Really short but bushing pretty good.I am gonna try and pop one of my seeds this week to start another one.

yeah I feel like I am doing ok for just learning I spend hours a night reading on here. The most difficult part for me seems to be the drying and curing. I am learning though so once I start growing for other patients I should have it down good.

I got a weight on the last harvest using a non digital scale it came out at around 4-5 grams but I cut the bud in half and gave to a friend. So I would say it is safe to say 7 grams at least dry. I think that is way more than I expected for sure. I will clean and remove all seeds this weekend

Nice. It only gets better from here. That next plant will be 2X the size

I have gotten to the point I can grow the shit out of this stuff . Now I just need to get the curing right. My cure SUCKS SHIT (last batch way over dry).

I think mine may be over dry also, but not sure it seems kinda crumbly LOL is that too dry? I don't smoke enough to know whats right
