First CFL grow purple jems in PC case

Also now that I'm thinking about it. Yes you can see it. It's light yellow when you first get it, and as it dries it turns darker yellow. Once you have done it you will see it's really very easy. I don't think your going to have any problems.

lookin forward to this, i've just started a grow, but if this goes well, i'll defo consider getting some of these....

Yeah it is gonna be cool,, I just hope I can get some seeds. I am guessing I will get like a gram or so dried from what it looks like now. I don't think mine is a good example of size LOL I think they should be more like 12" tall not 3.5

I ended up throwing out the 2 plants in hydro they were gonna die for sure. The soil plant is doing OK it is only about 1" tall and has 4 sets of leaves. I should have had general hyrodponics nutes in the water for the bubble system a guy from another forum told me. I also should have waited another week before putting into hydro. I guess there is a system for adding the GH nutes that keeps the PH at the correct level. For no I will stick with soil till I get my grow room finished LOL

Alot of these issues I keep seeing are from heat or nutes....don't give up...!!!! It is easy to mess up hydro, so the less ya do the better it goes....I am not sure I will need to use normal grow nutes at all....we have super sediment-y well water from an underground spring...it is filled with silt---sucks when you get a glass of water and there is dirt in the bottom but the plants seem to love it. I finally gave up on nutes after burn after burn after burn....always too much and I think I know now it si because whatever is already in our water is enough...so enough with my rant---my point is that if you quit trying you will never succeed.

What day are you on. Here is my Blue Streak at day 31 and day 40. Now I don't think its going to get much bigger. But I did get a lot of growth in the last 9 days. Day 27 I think was the day it showed sex

On day 44 today. I think it is a 9 week strain do you think it would hurt to wait longer if I need to get some mature seeds?

That's going to depend. You need to watch for rot. But shouldn't be a prob to go 70 even 75 days if the plant lives that long.

I pinched some sacks today and did not really see much. I think I may have seen a few little things about the size of a dust partical. I never can say I seen anything fall out but after opening up some sacks and shaking them I did notice the stuff on the bottom of my jar. I picked a few more tonight and will keep trying. I layed them on a paper towel to dry. The ones from yesterday still seemed kinda juicy LOL probably tried too soon you think?

Most of the time. The first few to open won't have any pollen there premature ejaculators. Give it a day or two. You should get much bigger balls, and they should be full of pollen.

Ok pinched off a few more today and will try some more tomorrow. here is a pic from today she is looking good. What do you think happened to my leaf it is kinda brown on the edges of one. I only use 1/2 teaspoon of earthjuice nutes mixed in the water everyother day. Maybe it got too close to the light. I lowered it down a couple inches today to see if that was the problem. They do have a purple Hue to them in some light it depends. I hope they get more purple but you never know. My box does cool down in the upper sixties at night and I have heard that some think that may help drawn the purple out of some purple genetic plants

In my dirt grow I do keep my Ph at 6.5 when I water. But your chit is looking so good. I wouldn't change a thing your doing. It's working for you very nicely. I live by the thought that if it's not broken. For gods sakes don't try to fix it.

Your probably right but I still wonder about the browning on my leaves. Could they just do that at a certain age? I have seen some guys just trim that part off

I think after reading that the coloring of my leaves is normal near the end of flowering so maybe thats all it is since it is 48 days old.
