Put reflectors on those lights, even draping some foil over the surge strip will work. Also put a fan in their, all of that heat that close to those little babies isn't good for them.

got those covered. made a reflector our of mylar and we have a fan in there.

update:

started flush tonight, using ph'd water and brown sugar.

Here are some pics from my phone(sucks) our camera is out of batteries and were lazy so...here are some pics from my phone.

Were heading to radio Shack to look at a magnifying glass.

Oh new seedlings and clone are growing well.

Future Plan:

In week or so take a clone from the three seedlings(Durban) and flower them after they root to determine sex and keep best mother.

From there we will be working toward a perpetual harvest.

A while back we bought a t5 fixture of CL and I am looking into some LEDs to use for the clones and use the t5 for the mothers.

well guess its sort of an experiment but brown sugar contains molasses and is a carb which as i understand is the reason behind using molasses. well i the way i see it is, can't hurt anything

Update:

We took a clone from each of the unsexed Durban seedlings. Once they root they will go into the flower box and we will id which mothers to keep.

we named the plants they are: The Gooo, Thug Life and Thor

Since we have yet to setup a light for the clones, they are using the same dwc and t5 light as the mothers.

Our flowering bitch looks good. no noticeable change. We are going let it flower till the weekend and chop her.


Oh the clone we took from our flowering plant a while back has made it. it took forever but is showing new growth. She is on her way to motherhood.
