shame about the E-G fella... it kinda sucks but at least you've got two others its not a total car crash....

thats why i try to ensure there are no weak links with my cab.... it took ages to iron out heat extraction and wiring troubles, even though its home made i tried to do it properly and now the only errors are caused by me (not adjusting the lights soon enough usually)

You were very quick to spot those. I think skunk plants are usually a big darker green so don't worry, the new growth looks vibrant and on the whole they look great. Can't wait to see when they start budding. The main thing is that u've organised a cycle now with those clones so if anything does happen then their ur plan b.

How tall are they? They look huge? Do u have one container inside the other with holed drilled?

I was thinking about up potting when I transplanted but I opted just to do a regular transplant so no they are just in single 5 gallon buckets. I drill holes here and there, you can't see them too well in the pictures though. It helps bring oxygen into the soil at different levels and it helps me see the soil moisture at different levels of the bucket. I had everything set up good. My problem started with a fault of my own bumping the timer, next time I am investing in a timer with a plastic cover so nothing can be bumped lol. I have no clones of the E.G. I donated them to a friend. I notified them and told them to keep an eye on them clones for hermi. The height on the super skunk is 26 inches and the height on the Sensi Star is 25 inches. Clones are coming along nicely. I am without a lot of room for vegging now as I dont want any light period, no matter if its lightproof or not in the flowering room, call me paranoid lol. I have a very small clone cab so I opted to keep the 3 healthiest ones and the rest I donated to a friend so he can grow them out and in a month or two provide me with more clones to make moms out of. My plan is to vegg these long enough to get a good root structure and grow a few more nodes. I have them in small 6 inch pots and as small as they are going to be when I let them join the flower room I should be able to flower the whole way in them small pots. After flushing that soil its basically a soil less medium now so all they need is to make sure they are fed properly and they should be fine, short stout and about a quarter ounce per plant. I was always interested in micro growing. A buddy of mine grew a small nug in party cup in perlite, just fed at every watering and it gave him a small amount of some of the finest bud I have every smoked. I am thinking of ordering the feminized Double Bubbleberry from Sagamartha Seeds after this grow is over...so I have some stable reliable genetics. These that I have now came from a medical grower in maine who was at his quota for plants and needed some seeds tested so he knew if it was worth his time to grow them.

buds are starting to form on Sensi Star. She is stacking nicely at the tops. The node spacing is nice up there. The nodes went from being 1-2 inches apart to being half inch to 1/4 inch a part so I should have some nice dense buds up there. Bottom and mid branches are looking nice too. Usually I have to wait til week 3 to see white hairs on the bottom branches. I have preflowers on every node down to the base of the plant and white hairs popping out of every single top on the plant. Now the Super Skunk...thats a different story. Im starting to question if that's actually what I'm growing as it doesn't look like any super skunk I have seen and it seems to be pure sativa. Super Skunk is supposed to be fast flowering....it is wayyyy behind the Sensi Star. Maybe a few white hairs here and there but virtually no sub branches on the whole plant while the sensi has sub branches blossoming on every node of every branch. Maybe the light problem I had stunted its growth.

I am finally gonna spend some doe on a tent. I was skeptical at first..."I'll make my own tent out of my closet" lol. I have it lightproof but the ventilation once it closes sucks. Even with duct fans to bring in cool air and another to draw it out when i take the plastic off when the lights come on the humidity is over 90% and it just reeks. NOt the usual smell though. I checked for mold and mildew and they passed that test but I am worried that it will eventually happen once buds start to fill in. I found this tent on Amazon for a great price....http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CJOANM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER It should be a perfect it for these monster ladies. What do ya think guys/gals?

What a shame about the AC. The plants are looking good, they seem huge. They're really taking on form fast.

My 18:6 tent is open all the time and I wonder why I use it. 1.2M sq. I do have metal ceilings tho so can't drill. Good for fluourescents but I have different rooms so light leak doesn't worry me. AC is more important and unfortunately more expensive. I'm sure you'll get a good yield. Fingers crossed for you !!

I think your 2 weeks into flower?? They should start changing in the next couple of weeks.

Someone did a grow journal with 100% perlite and it started out really well but then they lost it. I remember lots of pics on it.

If there are 2 plants with very different form, my friends and I think that the genetics aren't locked down properly and stabilised. I've seen this with some seed companies more than others. Some Co's have really uniform exact seeds, I don't even have to label them! Others look very distant from eachother, some more sativa, some more indica.

The proof is always in the pudding /smoking !!!

Were they all from Sensi Seeds? I want to try the Super Skunk or Skunk #1 from them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JP ??? Where've you gone? It's safe to go back on-line now!! That message earlier really threw me. I thought I was going to get a virus on my laptop.

I think I've managed to rescue clones from a super skunk from Sensi Seeds but it'll be ages before its gone full circle.

I was playing it safe for awhile til the threat from this site went away. I am still here :) My ladies are now on day 20 of flower. The sensi star is exploding with bud growth while the other plant..which I now know is not super skunk has yet to start flowering. It has been stretching and growing, sub branches are coming in nicely but still...only preflowers. I received the seeds about 2 years ago from a medical grower in Maine. The sensi star was dead on but the super skunk...well after looking at the pictures I sent him of her, he cross referenced it with pics he had of his past grows and came to the conclusion that he gave me a long flowering full sativa strain on accident. He says the strain is Early Pearl/Skunk x Haze. It is an outdoor strain..and I believe him lol. It is almost 4 foot tall already and shows no signs of slowing down. If and when this sucker starts to bud it is going to be absolutely huge. Wish I had clones of this so I could keep it going and plant some outside. I just got confirmation from atami that my sample of bloombastic and rootblastic are on the way. I can't wait to try them out. I have heard that once you start using the bloombastic buds swell fast and trichome production increases insanely. I hope this is true. I will post pictures in a couple days.

UGH! for some reason when I went to close up the garden this morning before lights off...both of my plants totally wilted overnight. The conditions are exactly the same as they always are, temps are 82F and humidity 35%. Plenty of airflow. Every single leaf on both plants are totally sagged and wilted beyond repair. All the white hairs on my one plant turned brown and red too. The soil is still moist from their last watering....maybe they caught a disease of some sort. I am totally baffled. If they are any worse when they wake up from their slumber I am going to chop them and be done with it.

ok so lights came on and all is well. Before the lights went out I failed to mention I gave them each a half gallon of water. I just wanted to see if this was the issue as I just watered them 2 days ago a gallon/piece. They were just thirsty or there are tunnels in the dirt funneling water straight to the drain holes. They look great now though! I took some pictures and here they are. The sativa is just now starting to pop white hairs out of the tops so I do believe she is starting to bud :)

Wow!! That's great news. No more watering b4 lights out then !!! I'm gonna chuck out my MG and start with the next. Tried to callibrate my PH and it wouldn't 'ok' it so more €€€€'s to be spent !

That Sativa looks so tall !! She's gonna take the longest for sure. I've got my Exodus Cheese starting (60% Sat) so I'll have to be careful with the feed.

The last minute watering is what saved them. What happened was I have them on a strict schedule of watering. Well they just upped and decided to suck up a gallon of water a piece within a 2 day time frame and threw me off. I hadn't even checked the soil yet for moisture or checked the weight of them. Usually my humidity drops too as the soil dries out but this time it didn't. Well I was about batty because i just woke up and literally had 3 minutes before the lights turned off and they were in such horrible condition. I quickly grabbed the jug of water...and at this point I hadn't given it any thought as to what the problem was so I was just basically hoping the water would help. So I gave them half gallon a piece cause I only had one gallon left. 12 hours later and they were looking lovely. Last night spent some time mounting a little fan to blow directly on my hps so now I have 2 fans cooling it down and that dropped my temps by 5F. They looked great before I went to bed...woke up checked em before lights off and the sativa is all flopped over, leaves sagging. It went through the half gallon in 1 day. So she is definitely a thirsty girl. I gave them a gallon a piece and she popped right back up. the other I just watered because I didnt want to have her wilt overnight. I definitely know the sativa is a light eater. If I even give her 1ML/gallon of micro/grow/bud candy she starts too claw. She has a bit of cal/mag deficiency with brown spots starting on the upper old fan leaves and a few of the mid leaves. I got my new hps bulb, more ona block and some botanicare cal-mag being shipped today so I am good to go. I have been using my spare hps bulb since the last one blew on me about a month ago. Its 6 years old and still putting out at least 75% of its original power. (I dont think htg supply brand bulbs ever burn out lol)The new bulb is 400W super hps 54,000 lumens so it should be much brighter in there. They are giving us a challenge...but we like a challenge. More pics coming and I will update daily on their condition.

I have just diagnosed my plants with the [h=2]Tobacco Mosaic Virus[/h]I read an article last night about it and I cross referenced example pictures of affected leaves with leaves on my sativa. They are spot on with the tips curved sideways, leaf veins deformed and the distinct bleaching of the leaves from chlorophyll leaving the plants. Such a sad day :( My sensi star has two leaves affected with no bleaching yet. Trichome production is virtually nil though and I heard the virus greatly reduces potency and resin production even if the plant makes it to the end of flowering. We don't smoke in the house either and we wash our hands before we even go into the garden. Pretty darn resilient virus!

I think it'll be alright. You're so careful and it was only a quick wilt that put things off track. Change in environment can effect leaf growth too. We shall see over the next few weeks.

I need to buy another PH tester. 3rd one in a year !!! :)

New pics day 27 flower...

I got the claw going on both plants, oh well. It seems unavoidable everytime I grow lol. Buds are in good health..stacking nicely and getting frosty especially for day 27 flower. The sativa is slowly doing its thing. I just lollipopped it tonight(after I took the pics) as the bottom leaves were complete trash. I should have removed them long ago and this helps with the high lights off humidity levels. Im expecting a massive yield off of her. She has tons of branches, nice and thick, nodes near the top are close so the buds should stack nicely. I should have some bud porn of her in about 2-3 weeks :) So far all is well besides a few rogue leaves getting crispy on me near the bottoms though.

I just got my free sample of Veg+Bloom from Hydroponics Research today. After some research on the product I am stoked to be trying it. I am going to keep the sensi star on the same nutrient regime and run this Veg+Bloom on the sativa. If all the hype is true it should turn her health around and turn her into a super frosty dense tree of buds. It is formulated for cannabis, it has everything it needs throughout the life cycle from clone to flower and works in hydro, coco and soil. They have formula's for tap water and RO water. I will be posting my results at every watering.

I have heard that there are a few things that they left off the label..as not to give away their formula. It is ph balanced and also has silica and carbs in it.

If anybody is interested in a sample of this new one part system here is the link to the sample page...

More pics to come tonight around 8:30 CST
