your leaves are thin because it looks like you have a more sativa dominant strain. The more humidity in the room the thinner the leaves, not in width but in general thickness, if you get me. It's called transpiration, look it up. If your humidity is high? lower it and your leaves will be more lush and thicker, but the thinness is mostly your strain, which is? and your leave curl issue is not because your in flowering, it's because of a watering issue. I believe it's over watering? someone correct me if I'm wrong. It could be heat stress, I'm not sure.
ok thanks for your input,,ive just flushed the 2 plants with 6.1 ph water,my run off was 5.9 ph from my soil witch is fine..im growing blue cheese in 10litre pots feeding them 2litre a day but im guna go down to a litre a day as from now an see what hapens..thanks man

dont water every day, every second day at most, the soil needs to dry out a bit, so the roots can breath,
and in soil have PH at 6.3 up to 7.0, I keep mine at 6.6

I wouldent just go and cut off 75% of the leaves!!!
the leaves are the energy makers and storers. your plants look G8 as they are dont remove any leaves, dont take away 75% off its energy

my mate told me to cut all the big fan leafs off but not the small fan leafs,,he said more energy will go in to flowering and more light will get threw to the bud sites,im growing in a 1.2metre square grow tent and there getin bushy as hell and all the leafs are covering eachothers bud sites up so its shadowin my bud sites,,think ill have a wait on the decision before i go chopin most the fan leafs off,,i didnt think id have to go cutin at this stage because my plants look as healthy as i could want upsept from the leaves clawing under,,i see your from oz,hopefully be living there in the next few years :)

have a look at this guys journals on what leaves do for the plant,
some pruneing technique used to speed up veg groth work, nothing I've read said just cut leaves off leaves to let light in.and no cutting when in flower!
do some reading first. dont just listen to the first person that tell u something, or me , read stuff and decide for your self, cheers mate, tell us what you decide on

you need to read some of the long time pro growers tips on trimming any fan leaves off during flowering... they say do not trim any off, if your having light blockage of your lower sites it's better to just tuck the fans down where you can.

It is said more fans = more photosynthesizing from light caught by fans which = more food production within plant which = more overall abundance and production of flowers. You will harvest less if you take your fans down this early. Although it is highly accepted during final week of flowering during flush you may remove almost all the fan leaves leaving only branches with bud. This is common practice and makes trimming after chopping that much easier.

It is also common practice to leave them to a total dark period for 24 hours before cutting them down. Last watering 2-3 days prior to this for a jump start on hang drying. So the answer is, do NOT touch your fans unless you want a comprimised yield.

I feed using a GH 3 part. I have kool bloom for intense flower production. I will be using this for three weeks before final flush week.

Two weeks in, cool, alot of help is available here for you to maximize your yield, although, what is done in veg can really depict your overall outcome with your techniques. What Ive learned is keeping an even canopy is optimal for max lumens per sq/ft. I will always top from now on, to keep the most even height of the canopy. If you need help with anything just ask and we will hook you up. I use a feeding schedule of feed, flush ,feed, flush/molasses. I've found a way to add an optimal amount of co2 at crucial stages for cheap. It will increase your yield by up to 30 %. Ask if your interested.

Hey BC i really LOVE this thread. i can really relate as noob just starting his first flowering things only ever get complicated during flowering . (if you cant veg a plant go home haha ).

I'v had heat and odour issues far beyond what i ever expected, heat is now under control by re-positioning a few fans and odour will be resolved when my Ozone Generator arrives next week :bigjoint:

I have 3 Barneys Farm Blue cheese plants that i have lowered the light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12 by an hour every day. I am now on day 3 of 12/12 and already i can see calyxes forming :weed:

I am a Soil Organic grower and i'm using only BIO FLORES for my flowering cycle (i really am a fan of the biocanna range your plants will n ever want for a thing :D)

Heres some pics (Flowering day 3):
