Flushing? Thoughts

It’s relevant because aminos have to pass through the casparian strip and the endodermis.

claims about aminos etc super charge your plants etc are usually based on laboratory injecting these additives into plant vascular systems.

if using them makes you feel better though feel free. :peace:
I'm pretty certain that you're confusing symplastic and apoplastic pathways, while believing for some reason that nutrients and water slip between cells making up the endodermal layer in order to get into the plant. They cannot because of the casparian strip, which is like a waterproof mortar that plugs the spaces between bricks. It used to be thought that the casparian strip was there to prevent backflow, but recent research has thrown that hypothesis into doubt.

I don't see where I made any claims about specific products containing amino acids, and particularly carbohydrates? I doubt they would have any beneficial effect (and may in fact interfere with exudate signaling). Plants take up only tiny amounts of amino acids, but many plants are adapted to increase the rate of amino acid absorption when mineralized ionic sources are in short supply. I haven't bought a "cannabis" nutrient or supplement product in over 15 years. So I'm not sure where you're going with this one.

I'm more of a person of science. That being said, if you believe that some fundamental issue exists with the methods employed by literally 100's of scientific studies that demonstrate non-ionic forms of nitrogen uptake by roots, then I suggest you publish your own paper in Nature or PNAS that provides the evidence you've uncovered. It would be interesting to see the numerous retractions across dozens of scientific journals that follow if you're right.

So what you’re saying is the reference article I posted about is now wrong.

that’s fine I’ll take that.

can you point me in the direction of more reading because as I didn’t buy into any of it then I stopped any further research on it during the future so would actually like to read more.

thanks in advance.

Apart of the 2 journal publications I've already posted, there are many. If on that page you click on "Since 2021", you will get papers published on the subject so far this year. It seems they've recently identified many more transporters involved with amino acid uptake by plant roots this year. It's interesting stuff for sure. Anyway, that should keep you busy for years. Lol

No I grow for quality. Quantity is a perk. I use this plant to help other veterans get off of meds. 60 lbs was just the one room. Let’s see some updated current grow pics then man. There are plenty of shitty commercial grows. I focus on terpenes I rarely care about the highest thc content weed. I’m not here to put you down for growing small scale. You just seem to put out a good bit of bullshit and have an overall shitty attitude. Don’t worry though I won’t block you ppl like you keep me laughing all day while I do my thing.
Ive been using cannabis to get off of opiates, alot of ppl dont understand this unfortunately. Think its a rouse to get high. Yup ok, ask your vet friends theyll tell you it is possible. Amazing plant. Thanks for helping the vets, your doing more than youd ever think. Alot more. Thank you again!

How many flushing posts are allowed? Well I have found the answer, {why this question?} Since they gonna flush, let's help. You will find a forum here about wet curing your product in water. So anyway, I chopped a dozen 4' girls last week and then I remembered what I read on water cured weed and how smooth it was. Too tired to trim, I just dove them through the car wash 5 times and done. Probably should not have bought the hot wax , Now that's some serious Flush. What's next???:wall:

The hot wax seals the terpenes in. I would have opted for it as well.

With him in your corner you’ll most definitely succeed

skip the 2x2 tent, too small imo. Get the 2x4 and work your way up from there.
