If the point of proper ph is to carry nutrients io the plant, would it not be better when flushing to use another ph level? One that does not move nitrogen.

no, thats the point of a flush, to suck up all thats left in the leaves, a proper 2week flush should leave nothing, or next to nothing, making for a much smother smoke.

I'm not an advocate of molasses. There's several reasons for this but to answer your specific question, just look up the meaning of the word flushing.
It would be hard to flush with water that has already absorbed as much as it can before it is used.
I think you're right sticking with plain water. It's proven many times over and does the job just fine.

i agree with u 100%, i would use molasses from the start of flower, but come to the conclusion that for the last 2weeks it b better to just flush with plain water, people have been doing this for many years with tip top results!!

so i gave my girls molasses for the first time. 2 tblspoons per gallon. i did it yesterday so i want to wait til tomorrow and check them to see if they are growing faster and what not

lol, u wont motice the difference overnight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u wont even notice the difference at all unless u are doing a side by side experiment, flushing 1 with molasses and 1 with just water, only then u can tel the difference truely. bb x nl

Well I'm currently finishing up my first grow, will probably be harvesting 3 northern lights plants this Sunday.
I gave them mollases 3 times in total, starting after the 4th week of flowering. I'm STUNNED by how sticky icky and smelly my buds are. Since this is my first grow, I can't say if the mollases did the trick, all I can say is that it did not hurt.

And I'm finishing up with just plain pH water too.

I have only ever used it through to the end with the exception of the last two or three waters ..... prior to chopping. I like what it does for phattening the buds ... they do seem to put on a lot of weight. I have used as much as 3 tablespoons per gallon but in this last grow have used 1 tablespoon per gallon, from about 2 weeks of flower on .... she's now 9 weeks since the beginning of 12-12. I found no residuals. The best thing I like about my smoke is the clean and clear lift it is ... good luck bro ..... Walk On!!~~

northenlights are sticky and smally as fuck anyway, im also finnishing up some NL very soon, look at my sig pic, no molasses used, 4 plants, just bloom and boost nutes.

northenlights is short anyway, they were grown from clones, i topped them twice thats why theres so many colas!!!!
