i use it pretty regularly in flower, i do slack off at the end though. it will fatten your buds up, but i like to use it from the time you start getting decent size nugs, till a week or 2 before chop. normally i flush with pure water. and its almost that time. gonna be a crappy yield for 4 months since soaking seeds though. maybe 1-1.25 oz per plant. i fucked up in midstages of the grow. ph problems that led to nut lockout. still i will probably net .75 lb. i hope at least.

hi m8, mine r that size at week 5, got 3 weeks left so want to introduce mollasses with my neuts now and fluch using mollasses, mollasses arnt harmfull r they????? im from uk so can u suggest where ide find some???
like supermarket or sumin?? i havnt got a clue wot they r n wot theyr used for see, thanx

You can flush with whatever you want but your final flush should be with water only. If you flush with molasses the smoke will be more harsh because you will be smoking sugar that was left behind. With plain water there is no residue left in the buds. Only the sweet taste of marijuana.

you need unsulphered molasses, i use Grandma's, i dunno if they have it in UK, look around, i got mine at local shopping place. i have used up to 2 tbsp per gallon but normally just 1.

1 TSP per gallon. :) (Some do 1 Tbsp per gallon though, but all the write ups i have seen on molasses say 1 tsp.
There is plenty of threads that say 2 wich is what I started with. I think using 2 was bad for me cause my plants got a phosphorus overdose. It locked out mg and looked like I had a mg diffeciency. I flushed and got everything back on track. I do say it depends on the other nutes you give them along with the molasses. Good luck on your grow here some links about molasses for you.

https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/186821-molasses-every-thing-u-need.html on page 3 of the second link there is like 5 more links to threads done on mollasses good luck and Ps I would only start with 1 tbsp maybe even less to see how the plants respond.

You are looking for black treacle mate. Thats what its called here in the UK. Check UK420, its a British growing site and has a lot more relevant stuff for us. As in buying stuff from tesco and B&Q instead of Walmart.

Although im not entirely sure about all the unsulphered stuff. I used lyles black treacle before and it seemed to work fine. Best bet is a healthy food shop thingy. You know one of those places all the veggys go.

i don't post much anymore, but i had to speak on this:

the quoted statement is absolutely false. (besides the fact that your final flush should be water only.) do not listen to this! perfect example of perpetuated misinformation. i'm sure bubba means well, but this is wrong. there will be no sugar left in your bud from using molasses. there will be no residual effect and there will be no harsh taste. harsh tastes come from improper drying and curing, or failing to flush residual nutes, primarily nitrogen, from your bud. molasses is not used as a bud sweetener or flavor enhancer. it is biologically impossible for it to be used for that purpose. molasses is only used because it is a cheap source of carbohydrates. sugar molecules are too large to be taken in by the plant's roots.

quick biology lesson: plants use sunlight and water to convert carbon dioxide from the atmosphere into simple sugars. this is a process called photosynthesis. if a plant could absorb sucrose through it's roots, wouldn't that make photosynthesis pointless? :peace:
