Hi,
I am running a bubble bucket as a test and ran into an issue. Specs 5 gallon black res bucket with about 3 1/2 gallons of pH 6.0 water. local chemical nutrient line up. res last changed 5 days ago. ppm at 610 on hannah meter. use 29% h202 to clean and was using as preventative until i noticed much faster root growth with aquashield. oh res temp 71 degrees.
ok. i found a dead gnat in some goop in the roots. the goop doesnt really feel slimey but i posted a pic of it. also pic of plant which is growing quite fast for being under a cfl and being supercropped.
Can anyone identify this? Also not like im seeing lotsof gnats and my res is lightproofed but there s enoughspace or gnats to get in obviously.
thanks![IMG_20120512_142540.jpg](/data/attachments/1519/1519345-ed8e70be5409b6f66e4a0552ff757822.jpg)
