yes, that way you wont look at the other 3 stories from 3 totally different sources and you wont find out how your prescious govt is fucking up by the numbers.

it also helps because you wont be scared, just ignorant. that way you can sleep better while the informed among us try to keep you and your family safe from barbarians.

technically, no, not since i retired from the USAF. but by educating the ignorant to what is going on in their country helps people to make informed political decisions does do some good.

whatever whoever says about it AFTER the fact is largely irrelevant. you should be asking yourself HOW did this happen in the first place, not who's comments are most accurate.

i couldnt care less about who you bash. if you read the entire thread, i posted a wash post article, a huffington post article a my place news article that all say the same thing. i led off with fox news because thats who reported it when i first heard it. i have no love for any news service. they all have flaws. but apparently as soon as someone mentions fox, your panties get all wadded up and you close your mind.

in order to fix what went wrong, first you need to uderstand what happened. then you should listen to the proposed fixes. if you hear someone offereing a fix that makes sense and works, then you let your politicians no what you support. if they dont support the fix you think will work, dont vote for them. whats so difficult to understand here?

yes, you are correct, the US ignored the red flags. thats pretty much the point of the whole thread. they ignored the dangers imposed by releasing terrorist. who ignored them? who is responsible for sending them to art class? now lets work together and get rid of them. thats all, not difficult. its a problem solving of a free society. some have difficulty understanding how a free society works.

apparently some of you are more concerned bashing a particular news source ignoring that i cited at least 4 that have the same information from saudi and american govt sources.

now it appears these terrorists were forced to sit through art appreciation classes...talk about torture.

What I did notice however was the the possibility of a connection between the Detroit bomber and Gitmo detainees was automatically dismissed, even scoffed at, by the fact that Fox News was involved.

Ideology and perception trumping reality (or even possible reality) is a dangerous and ignorant thing to do.

if you just ignore the terrorists they will go away. that seems to be a very popular position around here. you will notice i asked them several times what they would do......dead silence.

they have no input on solutions they just want to degrade a certain news organization or an ideology, or a church. those 3 are the true enemies of the people according to libs.

meanwhile the real enemy has penetrated our border and killed and injured dozens of real americans 3 times in the last 4 months. these are real americans that are dying and these people want to give illegal mercinaries and killers lawyers and constitutional rights. its sick

Criminal Britons came here and killed REAL Americans (native americans). Then these criminals killed more REAL Americans (Mexicans in Cali). Now these new americans wholly manifest and embrace the term hypocrite. Not satisfied with our own country, we shove our noses all over the damn globe and act surprised when people retaliate!

You forgot to mention the French, Dutch and most importantly the Spanish, wasn't it an Italian that came here first? The native Americans came from asia originally. BTW 'Mexican' is a mixture of Spanish and natives in what is now known as Mexico, referring to Cali of course, which was a Spanish colony.

You have yet to admit that they did lie about what Napolitano said. You can clearly see that she was talking about the measures after an attack, but no to you it is better to think that it is her saying everything worked well.


And unlike people that are thick enough to take everything without a grain of salt, I do not need some magical squirrel to force me to open my eyes. But that's fine you make yourself feel better about life by keeping fox news on and getting your fix of self-rightousness and political koolaid.

I didn't say you should feel guilty. You should, however, work to ameliorate the hypocrisy.

Where do we shove our noses? Hmmmmm............El Salvador, Afghanistan (esp. in the 80's - remember, Osama was on the CIA payroll), Iraq, Honduras, Bolivia, Guatemala....just to name a few. Would you like a detailed report from each of these countries? Or shall I just name the especially atrocious crimes, like the murder of priests?
