@BM9AGS both look great. I noticed with the full spectrum added the stalks are thicker and perhaps healthier. have you considered combining the light for an overall better effect? I have been experimenting with full spectrum leds added to COB's and I am seeing more growth healthier plants with thicker stalks and bigger response.

Great observation brother.

Yes! I've suggested for the next grow it be set as 1 4x cob timber kit then the CLW then 4x cob then CLW and on until complete. Should give the best damn results we would see. He says the plants under the timber are much better but the plants under the CLW are smaller but look tastier.

i see creative camera work thats all i see.... The pictures of the cxb buds are taken closer and in natural light and the others are left to our imagination. I think the outcome of this little experiment was already determined in this dudes mind before this whole thing even started, thus the "ofc"

Little back story.
I'm not the grower I'm away so I gave my friend the lights. I personally favor the osram lights which is what California light works uses simply because it looks cool to me. My friend who is the grower is a long time HID guy and his only experience with led is his brother using a mars and we all know how that turnes out.

The ofc(of course) comes from all of his texts I receive about about the white lights looking better through veg, thicker stems and larger plant. And now bigger buds.

This is the second grow under both lights and so we knew the predictable outcome being that white would win in weight a little. As for the buds, the major benefit is the leds as a whole being that there's no super high radiative heat like with HID so the plants are insanely resinous. They both taste the same and crystals and what not are more so specific to that specific plant. It's 7 gallon pots this time and they're all about 5-6 foot tall for perspective.

Either way he will not run SE HID again as they both timber grow lights and califorina light works are more favorable in buds and coverage for watts and weight for watts in his results.

There's lots of trimming and drying before any numbers come out. It's a one man show there and he sees that timber of course won.

i still use my clw both the solarsystem 550 and the solarstorm 220s (170W each). theyre great i keep experimenting with mixing the 220s with white light.

currently running the solarsystems 100% white band and 30-50 on red and blue which is a great spectrum and turning it down mellows out the hotspots. at full power it will bleach at 24" so i run it dimmed down and a also really like the 4 220s spread out covering a 5x5. too bad those arent dimmable id love to run them at 100W ea instead of 170 and they would bang on efficiency. solarsystem wins over the old soalrstorms in that regard and also tunable spectrum. its a very versatile light if you can only afford a one light setup
