Switched up to the ripen res tonight. I busted out my handy radio shack magnifier and check some trichromes.. these bitches are finishing already!!

So day 45 of 12/12 and I have no more clear trichromes and like 5% of them are already amber colored... I can't believe they are finishing this fast.

So ripen res for a few days here then I will start to flush them out I guess.

INFO:
PH 6.1 - I'm letting it go high for the finish - like in nature...
Res temp 66F
PPM 1420 - ramping down
Room temp 74F
Humidity 51%

Ramping down the nutes, no more N, only P and K going...

I'll check trichromes day by day and decide when to start to flush em' :P

some pics and then my a photo of my binger I earned for my hard work of yet another res swap... Fucking A water is heavy.

7 Weeks in now - I have started to flush now as more and more trichromes are turning amber. I will let them go for a few more days on the flush then probably take the top colas and let the lower ones go a few more days. I almost chopped the tops tonight but I want just a little higher percentage of amber.

Here are some pictures:

Finally finished trimming it all up. I ended up with a little over 300 grams - almost 2 oz a plant. Not bad for a 51 day grow but I wish it would have been better. I think I might give it another go because after some brainstorming I think I can double those numbers.

Here is a pic of a pile of trim - it's about half of it there.

I missed that comment before... that's my trusty kief box.

It has a silkscreen in the bottom with a glass tray you slide out. Just load bowls from it over the screen and all kinds of trichromes fall through the screen.

I'm gonna scrape some up and smoke it right now :)

Thanks for the compliments, after I make some changes to my set up I will take some clones and start over.

BTW your grow is coming along well, good work Humboldt.

Do you think you could get 1oz per site if you used all the sites. The reason I ask is that I'm thinking about putting 2 aeroflo60+60 extensions under 6kw. The footprint of the aeroflo60+60 extension is like 4x11 so I figure I could have 3x1000w lights ina row for each setup.

If you could pull 1oz per site that would be 15lbs in a 12x12' space. What do you guys think? :hump:

It totally sounds feasible but it might take some lolly pop trimming early on before they bush out. A SCROG like that would totally work. That's what I have been brainstorming on -- making a screen set up and spreading the space out..

Just be weary of filling up with too much root matter - those GH drain tubes get slower and slower at draining as they fill up with root mass. I have had to poke some McDonalds straws through the center of the roots to keep water draining.. ghetto but works and only had to late in flowering.

Now I won't sleep tonight... thinking of a 20x20 space with 3 resevoirs set up with 60x60 each in a scrog... I think light movers are key to this.

I need to find a pencil and some paper.
