Humidity, how to raise it, cheap without spending a lot of money?

I run 3600 watts 24/0 on my germinated plants. They grow faster and then I even mist my plants under those 3600 watts. Its not possible for water droplets to "magnify" the power of your lights and make your plants burn.
Wrong. On smooth leaves it does not at that way, but on leaves with hairs or trics it does act as a magnifier.

You can follow the link in that article to read the whole research article as well.

The best reason not to spray your plants is that it isn't helpful and can be harmful if done multiple times per day.

I know everyone's version of cheap is different, but go out and hit up your local thrift stores, good used humidifiers for 3 to 10 bucks that will keep a decent size room humid. I got one for 6 bucks, that has a built in digital control and humidity sensor, just set it at the rh you want and it will run until it gets there then turn itself on and off to maintain that level. cheap as it gets as far as I know. if your rh is running between 20 and 45% i think you stated earlier then I wouldn't worry about it, I grow with that rh all the time, no problems, the only time I bother to boost the rh up is with seedlings and the first week or two of veg, after that, they gotta toughen up and send out roots for their water, more roots= stronger plant= more bud, at least in my humble opinion. Even so I do like to have equipment on hand if needed, just in case, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, spare fans, etc. buy them when you find a steal of a bargain, and just set it back, that way when something fails it is a easy fix, no drama, and you don't get stuck buying something when it is at a premium.

that's not true..i've had droplet burn and i know others have too..must be hard to be so perfect everyday..how do you do it?

i'm surprised you stopped at 3600 and not made it an even 4000..that would just bug the SHIT out of me.
Science already proved me right there sistah. Unless the plants you are growing have big fern like hairs and can suspend the entire droplet above the surface of the plant, aint gonna happen.

There are many causes of leaf scorch, but irrigation
with fresh water is certainly not one of them.
Scans revealed no visible leaf burn.

Probably what happened to you was that the water contained nutrients in solution and when evaporated off left behind a brown mark, which you perhaps interpreted as a "Burn" mark.

I didn't mean nutes, I mean Elements.
Are you saying spring water hasn't got anything in it except for pure water? Sorry hun, its got all sorts of minerals in solution.

But don't let science sway your opinion, your anecdotal evidence is way more proof of something than scientific evidence is, right?

Not supposed to? Really? What evidence you have of that?
Let me guess, you know a guy who has a cousin who foliar fed and all of his plants died, therefore foliar feeding= dead plants. Am I close? Or do you have actual scientific evidence that I can dismiss with a cute anecdotal story?
