Update time!!!

So we are still in veg which is why I haven't been updating as frequently as this is the more boring part of the growing process. I am very happy to announce all of my leaf discoloration issues on all 8 plants has successfully been addressed and now all the plants are healthy and happy. I basically just made sure to check and adjust if needed my feedings for the past few weeks as well as made sure to water only when the plants were getting just slightly wilty. This worked ...note to self, always check ph before watering, adjust with potassium silicate or hydrolyzed fish for up and down, and only water when plants need it, not when I think they need it...LOL

So the clones are all coming along and still waiting on some of them to root. I ditched some of the clones that were not rooting and took new cuttings of the black diamond og, tangie 3, tangie 6 and ogiesel so just waiting for 2 of each to root and then we are ready for the seed project

Other than that I will be flipping the current COB tent in the next few days to flowering, as the plants are getting pretty tall and height may become an issue, however I have also considered topping them 1 more time to lower the height (especially the towering fire og) and then flipping a week later. we will see...soon though

Update time!!!!!

So today makes day 2 of flowering (from the flip) !!!!!!

I was hoping to get my shipment over the weekend but it didn't arrive yet so I decided to just get on with flowering before my girls get too big, so sunday may 1st was the first day of flowering after 12 hours of rest. The Gas lantern routine worked perfectly in veg, and the girls have perfect stretch without being too lanky and are extremely happy and healthy, another successful GLR for veg. So I put my lights on a 12/12 schedule, nothing fancy this grow, no odd light schedules, just the standard 12/12

The girls were getting a bit thirsty so I gave them their last feeding of veg mix today and the next watering will be geared towards flowering

Here are todays pics of the flowering tent

So far the Budmaster COB's are bad ass, and I love the fact they are UK built and not a china product :) Stay tuned as I just flipped the COB tent to flowering and they are on day 11 from the flip. I will update photos tonight.

Hey everyone!!!!

Update time!

So I fell asleep really early last night, was beat from work, plus some sample edibles from a potential vendor at work so I didn't get a chance to snap any photos of the flowering tent. So I promise I will take them tonight when I get home from work and update the journal for the flowering tent.

I did manage to get up this morning and both my veg tents were still on, so I took some photos of the plants in their beauty.

The VEG/Seed Project tent:

Well the ladies in this tent are coming along very strongly and they really have exploded with growth over the last week. I topped all the girls today as they will be used for my seed project involving my black cherry soda, which will be turned male with CS, and I will pollenate all the others in the tent to get some crosses going. I don't want the plants too bushy, but ideally I want 2 solid colas which should harbor a good amount of seeds. I don't think I will be vegging these plants for much longer, probably another week or 2 and then they will get flipped. Since yield is not my goal, I really don't need large plants. All of these plants though look very healthy and happy and have some nice leaf shine to them. Last night I gave them some pure R/O water to quench their thirst. Right now I have only watered them about 1x per week and a half, since they are still very small.

The veg/Mother tent:

This tent is also doing very well, I finally got my tangie phenotype 6 to root in my clone tray so I will be putting it in soil tonight and then all my strains will have a mother to them. This tent will just be keeping the plants in veg until one of the other tents opens up in which then I will be moving over all the plants to flower, as well as making copies of them. I may continue my seed project at this point with another round of seeds, and I think the male will be ogiesel since its my favorite strain I have, and I really want to get feminized seeds from her. That of course is a few months out so we will see.

Ok everyone....the long awaited and highly anticipated update of my flowering tent! Haha

Today makes day 11 of flowering from the flip. The tent consists of 3 of my favorite tangie phenotypes, ogiesel, fire og, harlequin, black cherry soda and black diamond og.. oh yea! The ladies are looking amazing already, healthy leaves for the most part, nice flower formation now is in full effect and the stretch seems slightly less than previous grows which may have to do with the recent topping a few days before I flipped the girls over to 12/12. I noticed that the flowers took slightly longer this time to pop, usually its around 8 days after the flip so they are a few days late which also could be due to the topping previous to flowering, or maybe the GLR (usually caused faster flowering time in the past) or the full white spectrum. Not sure and really no big deal, but just an observation worth noting.

So a few days ago I gave the girls a watering with some hydrolyzed fish, equillibrium, potassium silicate (what I use for raising PH) and some thrive alive B organic. The girls seemed to really like it as they look very healthy the last few days. I will be feeding them again in a few days, probably friday, so today I got their next feeding prepared which consists of pretty much the same mix as above, but instead of hydrolyzed fish I used squid, and added some earth juice bloom as well.

Other than that not much to report on supposedly my new lights come tomorrow as well as the extra fan for my COB light that had a fan stop so excited to install the new one and run the light at 100% power, (its been on only 1/2 power) because I didn't want to overheat the COB. Also some exciting new lights to test and run as well so I will update as I get the time, most likely it will be this weekend when I have a chance to shoot my typical testing, unboxing video.

Here are today's photos:

Hey Everyone,

Quick update

Today makes day 15 of flowering from the flip and the ladies look happy, healthy and are growing fast. They still are stretching which I expected through usually day 20-25. I haven't fed them since the last feeding so tonight I prepared a compost tea which I will be feeding to both the flowering tent and the veg tent.

I used R/O water with some moloasses, some biovam, yucca extract, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, humbolt nutrients bloom (soft rock phosphate) and some gypsum. I will let this mix bubble for the next day or 2 and should be feeding the girls when needed within the next 2 days. I also plan on giving them a nice foliar of compost tea as well, so I probably will do that tomorrow or tuesday

Other than that I just wanted to share some photos

Enjoy!

Hey Everyone!!!

So here is the Testing and Review video of the all new Budmaster Emerson LED light!! I've been doing this one all day so I hope you enjoy it. I don't know if I will get the other GOD 8 video up today. My computer fan started screaming at me on my video card and its quite annoying so I may need to do it tomorrow...LOL. or smoke some heavy indica.

******NOTE This light is ONLY 730nm IR (far red) and not to be used as a primary light source. Its designed to compliement your current setup for flowering trigger or use for the Emerson Effect.

Vegging/Seed Project tent (Budmaster GOD panels):

The veg/Seed tent is doing really good and I am running the new budmaster GOD 8 in there as well as added 1 GOD 4. I wanted to even out the canopy since the GOD's are extremely bright, but the light seems to projects downwards very intensely, and doesn't spread a whole lot. So with the added GOD 4, the canopy will be very even and should be no shadowing. I also am only running them right now at 1/2 power until the plants get much older and larger, which then I will flip to flowering as well as turn the lights on full blast.

The plants themselves in this tent are doing very well, and recovering nicely from the topping I gave them about a week ago. I probably will give them about 2 more weeks and then flip to flowering and start the spraying with the CS. I have a watering getting ready for their feeding in a day or two which consists of r/o water, earth juice bloom and veg, some tandj biominerals and meta k.

Other than that I may be transplanting some of the plants into larger containers however a few will have to remain in the smaller ones as I wont' have room for 9 plants in larger pots in there right now.

The flowering tent: Budmaster COB's Day 22 from the flip

The flowering tent is coming along very nicely and all the plants look extremely happy lately. I will also be feeding the same mix mentioned above to the girls in about 2 days as I am really trying to space their feedings out and let those roots stretch a lot in this early flowering stage. Other than that not much else to report on in this tent currently.

I am debating whether to use the Emerson Panel in this tent right now, or wait until this grow is finished. I really want to run this grow without the emerson, just so I can see how the COB's do by themselves, as I haven't run them on a full grow yet. I'm also anxious to run the Emerson though so we will see. I think I may hold off for now though just because I wouldn't have good results of the COB run with the Emerson light influencing the plants in any way. I may add the emerson to the seed project tent for now though, or at least once the plants hit flowering stage as It would be a good test of it and since I have run the GODs on a full cycle already, I don't mind using it with them.... we will see.

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!

Flowering tent: Day 28 from the flip, under 2x Budmaster COB X 4's

So the flowering tent is looking really good right now as the buds continue to fill in and the trichomes continue to form. The plants seem happy overall, but I noticed a little bit of leaf discoloration since last watering so I think I may give them a flush the next time I water just to help the soil recover. My harlequin is looking a little sad, as it just never seems to be happy, so I will be giving her a little extra careful eye and see what I can do to improve things.

Today though I did give them a mix of fish and squid juice, with some added potassium sulfate and I will get my flush batch bubbling which will just be epsom salt and probably my bag of premixed soil and some yucca extract. I will probably wait off feeding them anything though for at least 4 days.

Other than that I gave the girls a very mild defoliation, just removing some of the large fan leaves that were blocking too much light from the lower canopy and other tops, to allow for the light to be able to penetrate deeper into the mix.
