You misunderstood i paid them in addition to what the fees are for 3 year card. I paid to get my fingerprints done which was $60 i paid the doctor also but separately. I also paid for my 3 year card. The $75 was what they charged me to help. Come to find out i could have done it better for free they didnt help me at all and lied to me. Make me feel like they have something they are hiding. I am not sure the laws on what they have to do to become legal but maybe that is why they sent me that text because i was looking into things they might be worried what ever they are doing thats not on the up and up will be found out. Not sure just warning

I paid over $600 in all just didnt break it down because CannMed Outreach is the one that did not do there job yet still got $75 and turned my application in 60 late meaning they had sat on peoples application for weeks before sending when u ask for the date it got sent they wont tell you they never told me the day they sent it out or sent me anything with proof that it got sent when they told me.

When i get my card i will post names of people i delt with and i will help others so they dont have to go through what i did. My advice do elecronically

Not a list of names... my online application is no longer available to complete... the website states, "Sorry, based on the license you currently hold with the Department of Public Health, you may not start an additional application."

Under license appears "Qualifying Patient"

No... but my application has been processed and online form states that I have a license... looks like info has gone to card printer... just no email or letter from IDPH stating that.

Jenaenae84, I’m so sorry to hear about what you went thru. When you said you only were charged $75 that kind of was a tip-off that something wasn’t right. I went thru a place in Naperville (about an hour from me) and I was told upfront $350 for the doctor, $100 for fingerprints and another $125 for a 3-year card (Social Security discount). That’s kind of the norm of charges to expect if you want a place to do all the legwork for you...at least from what I found in my research.

It sounds like the doctor/service you went thru are either wildly incompetent or just scammers. Either way, I hope you’re able to get your card in the next month or two.

And yes, to anyone else reading this who hasn’t gone thru the application process yet, do your research on the outfit that helps you out. If they offer electronic submissions, that’s definitely the best way to do it.

I think you misunderstood me. I actually paid CannaMed Outreach in addition to what the fees are for 3 year card. I paid to get my fingerprints done which was $60 with a different company. I paid the doctor also $300 but separately. From what i understood the doctor and fingerprinting company are not with CannaMed Outreach they just work together but are not with them they are Not part of their company.

The $75 was what CannaMed Outreach charged in addition to the cost of the 3 year card to send my application. Come to find out i could have done it better for free they didnt help me at all and lied to me. I trusted them so to just lie straight to my face is wrong. Makes me feel like they have something they are hiding. I am not sure the laws on what they have to do to become legal but maybe that is why they sent me that text because i was looking into things they might be worried what ever they are doing thats not on the up and up will be found out. Not sure just warning everyone becarefull.

ALSO there is no investigation CannMed Outreach lied there never has been an investigation there is nothing to investigate besides the fact that my application arrived 60 days late which nobody has explained to me. Idph told me there is no investigation and they would never tell anyone that they would send me a letter that is actually breaking Hippa law if they did do that. When they sent me the text idph had not even got to my name yet. Why they told me that i have no idea but im sure ill figure it out and get to the bottom or at least maybe they wont do this to anyone else again. I expect honesty and when i get lied to by someone i paid money to that didnt do what they said they would do is wrong and if you cant stand by your word you shouldnt be in business

Btw my doctors paperwork arrived just a couple days after i saw him so first week of Jan. The paperwork that had been missing was just my application from CannaMed Outreach nothing to do with doctor.

So I went to Starflower Clinic on 2/10 and paid cash up front for everything. On 2/20 Heartland Security confirmed my application was processed on 2/20. Given these circumstances, does paying cash move things up at all? I did email the state and they do have my app, but they say it's still in process as of 4/01. What's y'alls guess as to when I will have a card in the mail?

Thanks :)[
So I went thru kind of an all-in-one doctor who filed all my paperwork, had the fingerprints done, etc...all electronically. He says that’s sometimes faster than doing it by snail mail/paper. But I was still advised 90-120 days. Everything was filed on 2/28. I’m probably looking at June sometime.

Best advice I can give anyone on here is quit calendar watching...especially if it’s been less than 90 days. I think they just have a couple hamsters on wheels doing the approvals. lol!
Sorry used the same did the same 90 days no different

Hi all! So I have a question if anyone can help...my payment from the state for the Qualifying Patient Application fee was taken out of my account back in February and I still have not received my card. Wondering if there is any way to check to see if it has been issued and if I may need to get another card sent if it went to the wrong address or got lost in transition, or if that is a reasonable amount of time for the card to take to be issued after the deduction. Thank you!

It seems to be an 11 week wait on average, as best i can tell from prior posts here, from time of receipt.
Thank you! My MMJ doctor told me about 90 days and tomorrow will have been 90, plus about 2 months since the fee was taken out so I just was starting to worry that it may have gotten lost.

Update:
App sent in Feb 8
Check posted April 10
Just got word today that card was sent to printer and it will arrive in 10-14 days.
Did you get the word by you calling them or did they send you a letter. I sent mine in beginning of Feb also. Only called once to make sure all my paperwork was received and then emailed then once also

Yes,
I went to a clinic in the city, it was $175 for the dr, $135 for background check, finger prints and passport photo and also a $75 for application. They didn’t take cash, just credit or debit card, they put the card number on the form that went to the state and I selected the 3 year amount I think it was $250? So long ago the amounts might be slightly off. They also required a follow up appointment for another $175 before the application went. Maybe the investigation is just your background check? Everyone gets one to make sure you don’t have a record etc.
Sending you positive energy - it should all work out. You have a qualifying condition and documents- it’s true they will send you a letter if they need anything. I think it’s just time before it irons out. I wonder if they have a yelp page? Hope others don’t fall into their clutches.
I am a Store Leader of the local game store and the staff from my home Clinic told me to check if I qualify since they are regular customers we talk about everything. My background and picture was $110 and then I paid the $250 for the 3 year and took it into the clinic to make sure it was properly filled out and sent it electronically, I see my Doctor at least once a month or every 3 months for all the meds I am on for a med check, plus the random drug test I have to do I had no fee from them and no fee from the clinic. I know that once I do get my card that I will probably have to pay for them help coordinate with my doctor for a step down program with the medications I am on which I am fine with over 13 yrs on high doses and don't look forward to stopping cold turkey

To those of you who’ve gotten their cards already, what’s the return address on the envelope? I know this sounds silly, but I get the Informed Delivery from the post office every day around 7am. I want to know as soon as I see the image that I’m getting my card that day!

I would say you will have by the end of may of they got in feb they have just started working on feb applications and think they will start on march application at the end of May just going off when people are getting cards. Mine was Feb 28th so thinking May 14th or around then. If you dont get a letter from the state then your okay. It takes a few weeks to process and then i think 14 days from printer to house give or take.

The state is getting to applications alot faster now. The holidays set them back about 2 months but seems like they are getting times down. The biggest thing is making sure your application and doctors paperwork get to the state in a timely manner because if the place you did your application dont send it in when they said it will push your time back. I highly recommend doing the application online seems to get to idph faster.

I received an email from idph yesterday stating my application was being processed. That was without contacting them.
