Iris and Sadie

Here are pics of Lucinda today. She's getting bigger by the day. I was going to start her on 12/12 at the end of the month, but I'm thinking about going ahead and starting 12/12 now. I know she's not all that big but my grow space isn't all that large either. I've got her pinned down and she seems to like the LST but since they double in size when they flower I'm getting worried about running out of room.

I think we are going to have an early fall too. My tree out front is turning colors already and I've seen some other ones turning as well. I'f it's gets cold enough to frost the other 4 will need to come in and they will take up even more space.

So bottom line, Lucinda old enough for 12/12 now or wait until the end of the month?

All 3 pics are Lucinda.

Cool, now this is my first MJ plant ever so, when I put it in 12/12 when do I start the molasses? I keep on feeding it the nutes for now too (I bought some african violet bloom food, 7-7-7), then flush for like the last 2 weeks? Do I have that right?

I'm using superthrive with my nutes, do I keep that up for now too? I also picked up some extra peroxide that I'm going to add to the next watering.

Im a hydro grower so IM afraid I cant help ya there.. But I can warn ya that your plants will be getting much more thirsty so be prepared to find them droopy till ya figure out what they like..

Yes I'm used to that, I've got probably 70 other types of things growing in and around my house. I check on my plants a lot, so I'll be right here if they get thirsty. How long does flowering generally take, like 60 days or so?

depends on the strain, but I think you can start checking your trichs around week 5 when they turn amber they are ready for flush.

I've had Lucinda in 12/12 since Monday and am anxiously awaiting signs of gender. Whats that take, about a week to show?

Tonight when I put her to bed I'll take some new pics of her, she's seeming like she's still trying to veg it out, most likely just finishing up processes that were already in the works.

This is starting to get really exciting

OK feel free to point an laugh but when you say week 5 do you mean week 5 of 12/12, or week 5 after they show sex or week 5 after buds start to appear. I just want to get it right you know? :eyesmoke:

week five after 12/12, but it is a strain thing... no gaurentee that you will see anything in week 5 but I think that is a good time start looking hard for them.. Do you have a scope or magnifying glass? YOu may have some that you just cant see with the naked yet.. as far as sex, could take a couple of weeks.. just have to keep checking..

New pics of Lucinda.

I removed the restraints and decided to let her stand up.

It'll be a week of 12/12 on Monday, examined for a sign of gender tonight but didn't see anything, just what looks like more veg growth popping out of the branches. If I had the space I bet this plant would become a monster.

I wish it would reveal gender, if it's a girl for sure I want to cut a clone, Lucinda 2, kind of like a Logan's Run thing.

OK here are the pics of the rest.

They seem stunted, I think it might be from being outside since the days are getting really short toward the equinox. I brought them in the other day.

1) Iris
2) Iris
3) Sadie
4) Sadie
5) FLotsom
6) Flotsom

7 & 8 are of this plant that sprang up in a pot after being abandoned as a dud seed. I just stuck it over in a corner by my corn patch and haven't don't much with it. It's been a really wet summer here so I think it is way overwatered. I finally brought it in the other day when I brought the others in. Today I noticed the second sprout in the pot with it. I don't know where in the hell that one came from. I think I'm going to leave it there for now and see how things go.

P.S. Hey Seamaiden you got any new pics of your plants? I want to see how they are doing.

Hi, this is my set up only got into this about a week ago, my plant (yes i only have the 1) is about 5 week old grown from seed ive built a light rig and painted and started my grow room

this is just a test plant and always has been, if it turns into a male im not bothered because i will have learned some valuble lessons, such as make sure your newly built lamp is secured before fitting the brandnew bulbs and then dropping it and smashing em , and make sure the nail his banged in enogh before you hang ur new thermometer! anyway lets just say ive had more mercury on my floor than id idealy like to!

but anyway (too stoned to worry about chemical spillages right now) Have a look at my plant tell me what u think i should do next

i know its looking crap, but ive learned alot with it, and im half way through building the perfect enviroment to do it the right way next time

all help is greatly apreciated :)
Thanks alot

OK I went ahead and stuck Iris in 12/12 with Lucinda today. I know she's small and just now starting to grow branches but I'v got to get a couple plants out of the way.

If Lucinda proves to be female I'm going to make a clone of her.

Sadie, flotsom and outie (the outside plant) are even smaller than Iris. Outie is starting to look more and more on the skinny leafed sativa side so I want that plant to grow bigger before 12/12 for sure.

I think Sadie and Flotsom will go on 12/12 right with nature on Sept 21.

I got some of the best weed that I've found around here in some time this weekend and I have some seeds so I'm starting them next, as soon as I can make some room.

Any opinions?

Just a ? Are you ph testing your water? Weed likes a very narrow ph range, or you get nut lock. Which means your plant can not absorbe nutes unless the ph is in the narrow range. My tap water is too hi a ph and I must lower it! I see some yellow leaves, and wonder about your ph! I know I had trouble with it when I started. So thought I would cheack. Looking good keep up the good work!

Thanks Seamaiden now I know right what I'm looking for, that'll help

It looks like you live in paradise !!! Most people think the beach is paradise but not me, I love the woods.

Thank you, Hester. It makes being an unemployed hobbyist a little easier to take (as long as it looks like that, and with a fresh wind blowin'). I do miss the ocean, though.
