I was introduced to this depiction on my first day of Sociology 101 at Community. This was in 2004. As much time that has passed since is about as many facets of life this applies to I've learned. But what it ultimately lead me to was understanding just how NOTHING MATTERS. As long as Nature's creations( us "homo sapiens") believe they can collectively live outside of Natural Order, chaos ensues and fills every last hope. Perhaps I such have entitled this thread....what the fuck is the point and purpose anymore? Is there a human left that is not enslaved to wastefully and mindfully spending its entire life enslaved to monies? This thing called life squeezed any hope of life out of life long before life had a chance at life. We are all just consequences on the never ending rat race wheel.

How can you be the change you wish to see when there isn't any change left to be had. What it is, is what it is. Its ever, forever so.

There are facts and there are myths. They can be differentiated. What was written thousands of years ago has to be ;liberally interpreted and shaped to fit today's world. Religious zealots are part a problem today. There is no God, there is no supernatural, what is written in the bible has no bearing on reality. We'd be better off if religion had been relegated to the dustbin of history where it belongs..

Listen, i actually have a bit of respect for you homie, you seem quite intelligent and you speak your mind, but your not rude about like alot of people on here. Im going to give you my refence, its an audio documentary from the sixties. Its not not some modern conspiracy blather. It gives dates, names, quotes. The historical facts given alighn with other well known historical incidents in history. Just facts. Just give it a peak, at least the first 20 minutes. If after that you still wanna call me crazy, then ill respect it. I just ask that you give me the same respect ive given you.

The expression goes that if the history of the Earth were one calender year, humanity would be born on the final second of the final day... and we're still in that second.

Its a Mathematical expression and there are many different ways to express the same math in this case. The math looks something like this :

Humanity has been around for approximately 10,000 years of anything worth note, now, lets put that in proportion to 4.5 billion.

10,000

4,500,000,00 and then we have 24 hours. We set up a proportion. 10k over 4.5b, and x over 24. multiply 10k by 24, you get 240,000 divided by 4.5 billion, and the final answer is: .000053 hours.

Now to convert that to minutes,

Read "Collapse" by Dr Jared Diamond. Either we learn the lessons of history, or we go the way of the Easter Islanders. Simple as that.
