1000W use to sell for about $425 here about a year ago. I use to sell the Pro SE for $300 now have to sell it for over $420.
The Canadian dollar tanking has dramatically raised the price.

just picked some up in gta, 600ea. for the e-series. far far brighter then any light I've seen.
You get the ev controller too? I highly recommend it. A real nice set of kit.

Yes that unit looks very good from my limited knowledge. Seems the way to control those lights nicely.

With these controllers I no longer need to lower or raise the lights, I simply raise or lower the wattage. The sunrise/sunset feature is pretty slick too. High temp shut off, timer. It's an all in one unit at a very reasonable price. Can't recommend it enough. It takes a bit to get used to having the lights 3+ feet above the canopy.

Yes I'm interested in their whole setup. I use pontoons right now for the sunset time. But the Gravita night/day thing has me very interested. Have you noticed if that theory works or not. I like the fact it all is designed to work together. Seems quite slick on first look.
So I assume you use their light with the controller then . That controller would only work on their light ??? with the control lead and all I figured that anyway ?

Second nature hydroponics.
Yeah I picked up 8 of them. Il be running 4@ 1000w each room for flower. Plan on flowering 9 under each haven't decided on 3gal or 5gal promix. Il be harvesting every month hopefully. I have 2 x 4ft 8bulb 450w t5ho fixtures for veg. 36 clones should root in a week and 3week veg before the rotation to flower. I've never ran this much power before so I'm on my toes a bit. The wife uses much more then me plus she wants to make bath balms, oils, creams, canna caps..etc I want to do the extracts. I've had a offer from someone with a oven to do my extract runs for 15% of finished product. Hope I can take him up on this. I have roughly 20-25 strains to pick from, 2 being CBD. Might make for a good journal, just bought some 2x2s to frame the rooms. Mobility isn't good, healing from a surgery.

One thing I regret...getting a 50amp 240v installed then buying a powerbox. I wish I had the electrician wire up recepticals right to were the lights are hanging. This was a very expensive lesson. Just paid 400$ for 20ft 240v power cables...

How many lights go in that room 10 x 16 ?

Chip on Board LEDs work extremely well. No doubt about it... my veg areas productivity has definitely improved a lot over the T5's.

I also have been using a couple to supplement in flower in some darker spots and the yields are good. The buds get massive. Highly comparable to my gavitas but they are overlapping with them a bit so I can't tell you what I get per light per say. I do well though when I'm not having stupid pH issues (well water). Around a GPW of light excluding accessories.

It still is pretty beneficial to get your lights up to maximize your canopy size relative output of your light. You can dim them but the spectrum does distort a bit. That is the one downside of gavitas, they are too bright for some tighter spaces IMO.

I actually dropped growing with vert 600's as the gavitas are that much better lights. Still hit slightly higher numbers with the vert 600's but that was more dialed in than what I've been doing and nowhere near as strain diverse. It also has the downside of being a pretty big liability and potential issue in a number of ways that just don't arise using the gavitas.

Is the actual bulb a gavita or can other brands be used as well ?
