hay thanks mammath your thoughts are always welcome, some of the bud has just gone into jars after a week of drying, its pretty heavy at the mo with some cerable but i cant wait until its fully cured.:bigjoint:

ok guys now that im finished with this grow its time to get the next lot on the go, however this time around everything is changing!
this time i have space restrictions, dimensions are as follows,
D = 900MM
W = 1250 MM
L = 900 MM
any ideas on set up are greatly recieved . im thinking maybe a sog in 6" pots ( soil ), drip feed, due to space and heat concerns ( ambient temps in grow space with no external heat sauce is 67f ) im thinkng 400w hps in a cool tube.
any ideas or design tips would be very helpfull

400w will give great bud density but you may only need a 250w in that space.
Depends on your outside temps but I've grown with a 400w with only 900mm height and it's too strong. Even in a cooltube with exhaust attached.
You probably need to look into doing a scrog set up if you only have 900mm height.
That way you can keep your grow about 6" above the pots.
Any taller than that and I think you cook your buds with a 400w.
You can still get nice dense buds with a 250w.

:joint: yeah ive been thiking the same, ambient temps in and around the space is 67f so that doesnt give me much leway with regards to min and max temps.:joint:
im considering scrog myself but to be honest im not all that sure on the techniques used, there are plenty of people singing the praises of scrog and sog but nobody is actually explaining how to do it unless ive missed it somewhere, any links would be appreciated !
im starting from seed again so i need to get this show on the road, all ideas, thoughts, and personal experiances are welcome :weed:

ok guys got me new setup ready going scrog just trying to decide which strain to go for ? there are some super lemon and trainwreck but not to sure wether they would be any good for growing to havest within 500mm as there is qbviously hight restrictions this time. any ideas for best strains for scrog grown small would be very helpfull and once again thanks guys.

lovely crop twisty man! you gonna do a new journal? im guessing your wanting a big yeilder if space is short? trainwreck wont dissapoint and the smokes nice n strong too. SOG or a couple of plants topped early n supercropped, same amount of end product but a fifth of the plants...

hay don how ya doin !
yeah i am going to do a new journo just getting things sorted out, grow room has been moved due to security reasons and hight is a problem this time.
dimensions are as follows;
w = 1250mm
d = 800mm
h = 1100mm
this will be a totally contained grow and fully automated , ive managed to get hold of a doser and climate control system for £300.
i have a few concerns though, first due to hight i have to take all measurements very carefully ie, 150mm pots, 500mm plant growt, 250mm from top of plant to bottem of cool tube, 150mm top of cool tube that gives me 1050mm in hight. im thinking because of cool tube i might get the plants closer ?
secondly im thinking 150mm pots for soil could i do flood and drain ? res tank would have to be above the drain tank because of location ? 2 pumps ?
any feed back would be most welcome, will start a new jerno when the above problem is solved, and thanks guys :weed:

sorry lem i cant really help with the ebb n flow carry on never played with that method its a bit of a pain if your at risk (like me)of a surprise visit n need to pack up sharpish
