Members That I Have Picked

i've talked to ngt, i've looked through the faq's. some of them need to be nixed, and replaced with valid and accurate info. cugine has a link to one in his ph thread, it states that hydro ph range is 5.1-5.9

that's wrong, it's 5.5-6.2; things like this need to be remedied. he has a defficiency due to lockout, because he read the faq's. we need to be 100% on our info, so as not to mislead our n00bie growers.

also, rollitup, are we not limited to how the faq's look? is it possible to get a different layout or something?
Hey, I thought hydro was sweet up to 6.5, with the ideal being 6.3. In DWC I ph to 5.8. I also thought that 5.8 was the lowest you should go in hydro.

Do we have any NFT growers on the site?

It's fine stealing information from somebody else, but information seems much more substantial when written by a person that actually knows what they're talking about.

What about cloning?

This is especially hard for noob's to grasp. i've never looked in the faqs for cloning before, so ignore this statement if the faqs on cloning are fine.

There maybe more top level categories, try and think of things that fall into the categories i mentioned and then things that dont, if there is another categorie that needs to be completed then fair enough.

See the environmental section would cover things like.

air movement
stomata
circulation
ventilation
temperature
humidity
co2 enrichment
measuring co2
producing co2
co2 systems
fementation
dry ice
baking soda and vinegar
odour
ozone generators
carbon scrubbers

plus more to mention

First off we need to figure out the main headings. The ones I have used above are just the chapter headings in a jorge cervantes book. I thought going along the lines of somehting like this would be good.

Rollitup growfaqs needs to become the most concise growfaq in the world. We need to do it better than it's ever been done before. We want it to be the model that everybody else follows.

We need diagrams, pictures, and things that show the reader exactly what the words are saying. Maybe some video too.

We start...

... at the beginning.

That would again make the front list too big.

To start at the beginning we need to work on the headline categories.

We could start with getting started and then next is germing a seed, then what seedling stage, then what veg?

All of this falls in to one category.

i had the list at 10. that was what was asked for. how is this to big?

getting started includes - setting up a room. purchasing seeds. picking a medium. pots and grow tables.

the top 10 are chapters. after that we break down into sub-chapters.

you can go straight to the point of your grow that you are at. if you are vegging and having vegging issues you go to the vegging chapter. why have to dig threw flower nute facts when you are trying to fix a veg problem?

Hey, I just now found this thread and I'm here to help. I had a job for 7 years at an insurance company checking applications for completeness, and I also proof-read the manuals for them. I also had a part time job for 2 years at a newspaper as a proof reader. I am not as knowledgeable or experienced growing as the other listed volunteers but I am very eager to help and I am willing to do any research or work or chore needed.
Please include me, and count me in!

My time is yours!

I assume this is JOINT effort ! LOL
