Glad to hear your plants are doing so well. Ya i just finished posting some more pics on in my journal of the newly renovated veg tent. Looks alot better now. Healthy roots means a healthy plant. They will grow nice and have lots of bud sites. I am really impressed with how well the Blackberry is responding to the new set up. IT seems like she is growing an inch every night. If you wanna check out the new veg tent just click on the link in my sig. Keep me updated on your plants. Get some updated pics of them when you get the chance.

Peace and positive energy to you

Man ooh man! There doing better then ever! Just recently They have been vegging like crazy these past 2 weeks under the 400 HPS. I came to a conclusion, and that I am going to veg these suckers for about a total of 3 months maybe 2.5 and then start my flower cycle. There on the 1st month so far! I want them to bush out like crazy so i can cutt alot of clones to do my SOG method with the cuttings, I figure it would save me time & money having to drive to the clinic just to get clones or ordering seeds online. Sept for auto flowers i haven't given those a try yet. But i will! MUAHAHAHA! btw sorry I'm medicated off that orange kush. super good stuff! I'll be posting pics today of the ladies!

P.S. I germinated 8 Skunk seeds i got from bag seed!

That's awesome. I got some Orange Kush plants going right now. 3 orange kush plants. They are still seedlings but 1 orange bud is in veg mode. I don't know the sex of the plant so once she vegs for a couple more weeks im going to throw her into the flower tent. I need to get another timer once I get paid then a week after that she's (i hope its a she) is going into flower. That's alot of seed but with odds you will probably get 3 or 4 male plants in that skunk bag seed. Remember we don't want male plants. Once you see those banana hammocks forming chop the plant down and destroy it, then remove it from the garden. A grower's worse nightmare is having his entire grow ruined cause he didn't remove the male early on. The pollen sacs mature in about 7 to 10 days so they are ticking time bombs. You should get some more pics up! OK man take it easy.

Peace and positive energy to you.

about 8 or 9 weeks and they will be done. Get ready for some smelly plants. I personally love the smell of maturing cannabis. SO by the end of August or beginning of September your plants will be done. During late flower like in the 7 and 8th week is when they really bulk up and get heavy. You might have to prop the colas up with something during that time. Late flower is my favorite time to be a grower. You will really enjoy growing during that time. good luck to you and get those pics posted!

I gonna go try and find a drill pump cause everything ive tried up until now has had mediocre results. As always I'll try to document my plants tomorrow and put up some new pics as well. Looking forward to seein your plants. Take care.

One question, Did your Rubbermaid get deformed when you started to add water? you know when the plastic kinda just isn't in shape anymore due to the water weight. Did you or do you have that problem?

The plastic did warp a little bit but nothing that seriously affected the overall grow. I use the rubbermaid roughnecks. They tend to be the right size and height. I have a smaller rubbermaid that is about 5gallons but its taller than the roughneck. Which I am now realizing could possibly pose a problem once the roots become established in the DWC setup. I know I am using a shared res and as a result the root system from each plant will eventually become tangled up. This is something I am hoping to avoid with the two tent set up. Veg in mother tent then once root system is established switch over to the flowering tent for 8 to 9 weeks. Well we shall see how it goes.

In other news I had a terrible thing happen to me again.... One side of my new light fixture fell onto my mother plants :( . SO now you can say Karma is a bitch sometimes. It damaged the white widow mother but not terrible damage. The main stem is intact and only a small bit of growth was severed. All the main fan leaves are still intact. The blackberry did not suffer any damage as it was the one on the side that did not fall. The fixture is not broke either. Just a couple of bulbs became loose in the socket. I just had to reseat them to make them functional again. I was so shocked and sad when it happened. Good thing I was home at the time when the fixture fell otherwise the damage could have been far worse. As a result I placed more secure lines and safety measures in case the main system fails. I just need to invest in those light hangers so I dont have to deal with this stupid bullshit again. The white widow should pull through. Here's hoping right? BTW where are your pics? LoL. Hydro is alot of fun and if your a hands on grower like myself that likes to futz around alot in your grow area then you will love growin in hydro. It's alot more work but I find it very rewarding.

Peace and positive energy to you.

I saw you had a very small Rubbermaid... I figured the roots would tangle regardless... I mean it also depends how long you leave them in there for...
On the side note! WOW! I glad you plants lived! Yes def invest on some hangers that are more secure!, I'm hoping my 400 watt hps never falls! thats why everyday i check my harness lines just to make sure there nice and tight! Pic tm afternoon Promise! Works has been calling me non stop to serve hours on end! witch ='s more $$$$. I figure hey why not just work while my grow goes and by the time I feel the need to take a break then my plants will be done, it's that type of life style.

Ya, I figured it had something to do with your work. After a couple of days, no plants were seriously harmed from the light fixture falling on them. THe white widow was somewhat affected but nothing serious. The light severed a small piece of growth off her and the blackberry plant was unaffected. THey are both doing great again. The blackberry is really bushing out. Another week or 2 and she will be ready to take clones from. I am getting excited. IN a week ill put my first plant into the flower room. The orange bud. I dont know the sex of the Orange bud but I'm hoping for a female. I have 3 other orange buds so hopefully Ill get at least 1 female. Anyways. Work sucks, but ya gotta make the money. I am in the same situation. Lookin forward to your pics.

Well today I am off and will be doing a full review on my plants! Pics will come right after this post later on today. I got to install my transmission on my 88 grand marquis today! woot! Excited cause I haven't worked on it in a full month! it use to be my daily driver but trans started slipping so i went to junkyard & got an other one now. i just gotta install it. It's my baby! besides my other babys in my grow room! lol it was giving to me by my fiances father as a gift! believe it or not it had 30,000 miles on it! ya! =]
and the only reason the tans was slipping cause it sat in driveway for so long the seals went bad. haha enough bout my car! lets talk about some plants! as you can tell im slightly medicated & listing too Damian Marley - It was Written.

Plants: 2.5 Months Vegged Out, Into 6 days Flower Time.

OG KUSH x Bubba Kush- Started flowering it July 1st, It is now July 6th and I have seen some massive growth!
Black Domina - Flowered at the same time, there both the same age clones i got from a collective.

One thing about the Black domina it grows towards the light faster then the og kush, I've noticed every time i would do a little LST. the black domina responded within that hour and would face the light in a quick manner. While the og kush would be at a slight angle. Mind you guys they both have the same amount of light.

Skunk Seedlings 12/12 Light Cycle.

As you all know I germinated Skunk seeds back in 6/30/10 they germinated that same night and sprouted July 1st. It is now July 6th and they are doing dayum well!
All 12 out of 12 seeds germinated and 12 out of 12 of them sprouted, although 3 of them are lacking growth a bit, I will continue to raise them and see how patients might pay off.

Other then that, I will be retiring the rubber maids this month... sad I know.... but I'm expanding just like everyone else on here does.=]
I will be building my self my own grow tent splitting it into Two parts Flower and Veg room. Just like the professionals and not doing this plastic bin thing. I figure if i want to be like the best I got to act like the best, Play like the best, and GROW LIKe THE BEST! muahahaha j/p but really I'm expanding and going further more into growing danker and heavier buds!

A moment of silence for those that have died. ................................ Ok silence is over. Well that sounds great! I am glad to hear that your plants are doing well. Mine are doing well also. One more week or so and my Blackberry plant will be ready to take clones. She stands about 1ft 1/2 tall. Although I am hesitant to take clones from her now cause she isnt quite 2 months old. But ill see how tall she is after one more week. Otherwise I do have a green algae problem, in my small DWC system. I believe the green algae is competing with my plants for Nutes. The reason for the green algae is due to the fact that my lights are penetrating the top of the DWC system. I need to get a different rez one that is more opaque or completely black. This light blue isnt cutting it anymore. I'll be checking back for pics of your plants. Peace and positive energy to you :joint:

Moving on! Pic updates! yay! ooh and i ditched the Rubbermaid and made my whole room into a grow room haha =] and the movement continues.
I used an old Portable Clothes Hanger and did my adjustments from there. Now I can fit more plants with more space and not having to worry bout stealth or anything in that matter at all.

if your going to use a gel i recommend CloneX.

Liquid rooting hormones penetrate stems evenly and are the most versatile and consistent. They can be mixed in different concentrations.

Gels are easy to use and practical. Gels keep root inducing hormones evenly distributed along the subterranean stem. Insoluble gels hold and stay with the stem longer than liquids or powders.

Powdered rooting hormones do not stick to stems evenly, penetrate poorly, encourage uneven root growth, and yield a lower survival rate.

So I would suggest either a gel or a liquid. Dip n' grow is a good liquid rooting hormone.

Peace and positive energy to you.
