New Beginnings for Massachussetts and I

Blue Widow update .... seeds went into the water 1/31 and they sprouted right away ... but once the broke throught the soil they've taken their sweet time about getting going. Finally seeing some good growth ... they're at the 3rd true leaf node and it looks like I'll be topping them this week. I'll be updating the grow diary Tuesday to start week 5. Don't know if it's the strain ... Dinafem says they're slow starters, the soil mix, or the lite Botanicare supplements but it's looking good.
My white widows are the same way. It will probably be a 6 week veg and I'm expecting a 10 week flower based on what is in other people logs.

I have no idea how fast they'll grow from this point ... particularly after topping ... but I expect another 4-6 weeks after I top them and get them into a scrog before I flip them

Any help with these would be awesome, having some issues as you can see, i just read it could be a type of wind burn too, not sure, no nutes added yet, cree cxb3590 x 5 @1.4amps, light 18-20" away from top of canopy FFOF soil-30% more perlite added, 6.5ph when watered, may have been slightly overwatering, any help would be awesome

Wow, pictures! Are they back or is it just a fleeting thing?

They look over watered. Possibly over fed. But, I'm no expert.
Overwatered yea i have addressed that i think, but i was curious if anything else was happening, moved fan back away, havent really heard of a wind burn until now and thats what some say that leaf crinkle may be from, not sure though

First time growing anything green. My white widow auto is the runt of the litter at 23" and 6 weeks old. My tallest is a northern light auto at 40" same age.

I starved all of them after 4 weeks so they may yet die. Going with a Coco instead of soil next time and following a strict nute schedule.

I have 1 w widow auto, 3 n lights autos and 3 photos. The photos are 7 weeks old. They were supposed to be autos so I am not gonna trust that they are sour d. Only using seeds from a reliable bank next time.

Switching to 12/12 tonight so I can end this grow ASAP. Moved one n lights and the WW to my new veg tent with a ghetto full spectrum COB so they can stay on 20/4. They were the only 2 that would fit while in flower. Training for sure next time.

The leaf curl could be over watering and the lights may be too strong for them unless you have it on a dimmer. 5 x 3590 @ 1400ma over a 2x4 (I'm guessing) is putting out roughly 631 PPFD @ 36,000 lumens. Either dim it or raise to 30" and see if that helps.

Sounds like you're climbing the learning curve pretty well so far, bro. Don't get discouraged; if it was as easy as everyone thinks it is to grow great meds, everyone would do it. LOL

Thanks alot man, i couldnt find any real info on light distance during veg for cobs, alot of mixed information out there, i will raise the light a bit and see how they do, i could also dim it down a bit... i do have a potentiometer, also running it 20/4 light schedule do you think thats too much, should i drop it back to 18/6? do you think they are getting oversaturated with photons?infared heat gun says canopy temps all around are 75*, hottest tent gets is around 81-82*, its a 4x4 tent, looking to expand the lightbar in the near future so i went with the 4x4, crowded as fuck in there, those 3 other led lights i will use for flower (borrowed from a friend no longer growing) but the cxb3590's are all thats on right now

@Bountykiller420 Take the reflectors off until they get bigger. There's no canopy to penetrate so why create a central hot spot under each COB? I've already made that mistake :) With LEDs heat isn't really the issue .. it's light intensity. There may still be other issues but see if they respond and let them dry out a little before trying other remedies.
I just went through my first germination and seedling experience ... if you have a few minutes take a look at https://growdiaries.com/diaries/994-dinafem-blue-widow-1st-grow. I've been documenting things pretty thoroughly and you may find something useful there. I'm just finishing week 4 from the day the seeds went into the water glass.

Guys, I'm TRIPPING!! over my new grow- These should be called THE TERMINATOR instead of Pineapple Kush- they are at 3 weeks from germ and only 4" tall, but 14" wide- Are you kidding me? Measured 1 leaf's width and it was 1 1/2". My bubble bucket lids are 12" and they are hanging over.Still waiting on White Widows to get to flush stage- still got some white pistils and drinking 3 gal. a day

aaaaaaaa1111 (1).jpg My lady has gotten so big in 48 hours! I get such a rush from this. I watered fully 3 days ago with liquid seaweed and distilled water PH'd to 6.5....she seemed to love it. I also have a Mephisto Auto HubbaBubbasmelloscope seed coming within the week. (Present from my son) I cant wait to start her.

Any guidelines to proper cloning out here? How long for roots to emerge? Using RRooters on test drive, under humidity dome with WW babie branches and after 6 days still alive, but no roots emerging- have under some CFL clipons(2) Just plain water with spray bottle

You want clones of an auto?

Compared to the mess in my tent yours is well manicured. After 7 weeks in veg I'm pretty sure that they are not autos. Just switched to 12 12 but I don't think there's enough room for the flowering stretch. Here's a before and after photo.20170225_122233.jpg 20170227_071454.jpg
