Damn, we have about the same camera only mine is the XTi.. Thanks to your posts I've been able to get some pretty decent pics too, gonna try the magnifying glass the next time I take pics, thanks for the info!

Yeah bro they all did stretch quite a bit more than I thought they would. That big hermie was the star of the show and was stealing light from everyone. New run is going to be scrog so I don't have to get as creative with the lighting next time LoL

Just did a rez change before lights out. 5.7ph 920ppm

Added nearly full strength Fox farm trio nutes and 3/4 strength cal/mag plus & sweet. Had to add a little PH up to hit 5.7 but is holding pretty steady there for now

No pistils browning out yet so she's got some time to pump up some more hopefully.

Nice, very nice. What is w/pistils browning out about? They do that as they ripen, correct?

mhmmmm. 1 sure sign that your getting closer to harvest.
also all milky white trichs are a sure shot way to get a nice uplifting head high
Any amber colored trichs are a sign that you'll get a more (medicated couch high).

I don't cut/harvest until the trichomes are 80% cloudy w/40-50% amber, the peak high from the plant. The pistils color will vary through-out the ripening
growth process, yes? The under growth, the bud thats under the main canopy & cola tops/nuggets still develops while the top bud is changing color of the pistils. Also, I'll cut back from 12/12 lights to 14/10 the last 2 weeks of flowering, then 48 hours before harvest, my gals get no light. Then...

I'm going to do a 48hr dark period at the end also. I've heard this can help dank them up a bit at the end with some increased resin production. Never thought of a 14/10 trial though...
I take it you've seen improved results from this fader or is this a trial?

No, actually my 1st grow, I ran the 12/12 light schedule until I saw pistils, then I switched to 14/10 light schedule, trichomes everywhere
, this grow I thought I'd see what happened w/a longer 12/12 schedule. My 1st harvest resin was so sticky after lights out 48 hours, my hands smelled like a ton of sweet harvested bud for a week, lol...

Figured I post up a comparison shot of 12 days growth on one budsite I had some good shots of.

No unfortunately I didn't try it this round and these girls took fckn forever to show sex (8+ days)... Others that I know that have tried it have said it did "appear" to jump start flowering. Even though strains will be different going forward I think I'm going to try it out for sure next time and see how it works out.

worked for me.. lol.. i have only tried it once, so no concrete evidence, but i am gonna try it again and see the results... i am doing 24 hours of darkness before harvest... i feel 24 hours is suffecient...anyways.. that 12 day dif is nice... i think mine have changed a lil, but i dont know if that much... also... on the pistil color thing... i have been popping red pistils since first flowering.. trichs are the only sure fire way of judging i think.. i may be wrong, but this is my opinion...

Quick shot I took of a tasty bud. Very few trics even cloudy yet, mostly clear. I'm sure I have another 3-4 weeks left in her but we'll see. Loads of popcorn and very few large buds due to the stretching between the nodes but I'm cool with plenty of 2-3g buds as long as they look like this.

Yeah bro I plan on making some serious tincture with the trim. Should have quite a bit of quality trim off this girl from the looks of it. Be a first for me making/trying tincture but it sounds appealing as hell!
