Sorry if I'm hijacking but the cheapest I found is 5 bricks on Amazon which is like 3 and 1/2 pounds for like 15 bucks that sound about right?

I do I just dump it in a tote pick out the big root pieces and add more fresh stuff to fill out my next runs starter pots.
Same here I have a big bin I just keep adding coco, perlite, verm, whatever else I can find lol. And I have the same bin next to it filled w water . Very convenient pH adjust and I'm good for a week or so

my experiance with cheap coco is its too high in Acid content and will cause problems... we have coco Bricks here in Oz, but they are shitty .. We get 50lts Hydro coco here for $20 bux a bag

Why waste perfectly good medium? Coco is reusable through 3-4 runs before it breaks down into too small of a particle size. Buying it every run seems quite wasteful if you lack aeration toss in a couple handfuls of perlite

any Hydro shop will have this... always use quality as your base... and the rest will follow... coco and Nutes are cheap....use the best
Typically I use half promix, other half Coco and perlite vermiculite. Just trying to figure out the best source for my coco. Just switched to a coarser perlite mix and am loving it
