Hell, I'm not saying that what I do is "better".
It's just that I've been refining this method to my environment/space for long enough that I'm not guessing any longer for my criteria.
But then again, there is always room to learn.

Yeah I hear you but I've never got the same smell and taste with fert and hydro" I feel"doesn't smell as much ... I like the simplicity of just adding water and that's it. It's always good to know your opts tho @GreatwhiteNorth

Doing all that already. I really don't need to mess with my ph (I still check it but only at the beginning and end of the barrel) since I am using AN ph perfect. My ph is rock solid and have not had a single issue to date.

No I don't keep a journal - just post pic's in random threads when it's relevant.
And perhaps I wasn't clear on my training methods, so in a nutshell I allow the screen to fill to 100% (or very close) by just pushing them back down under the screen and at that time I may take off some of the larger fan leaves to allow the tops to get through and switch to 12/12. Then as they work themselves through (with a bit of help for some) I will supercrop, bend & even weigh down the tops with wire hooks. During this time I'm also opening up foliar "holes" so as many bud sites as possible will make above the canopy. Once things look good & stretch is about done I will let them do their thing with the occasional leaf snip here or there.

I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to help you with a feeding sked - I'm running living organic soil so I simply add water with perhaps a bit of top dressing of this or that if it looks necessary. I've got my mix pretty dialed in so typically I can finish a grow without adding anything.

Thanks for that. Do you get all your branches at one height then flip, or just mostly at the same height?

I am wanting to flip in a week and thinking about using the stretch to even the colas out. What's your thoughts?

Ahh yes the ph perfect .. Yeah I use sensi grow ,and used to use conisour a&b but don't agree with npk ratios .. So I have to adjust ph in flower(using Gh floraNova)

The hydro guy gave me some FloraNova grow/bloom to try out. I wasn't about to change things up mid grow but my chives love it :) Are you just using that throughout the grow?

I'm using the ph perfect Micro,Grow,Bloom.

As much as possible I try and get everyone somewhat the same height and the screen fully involved before I flip. I then use the stretch to further bring up the short guys while I use other techniques to try and keep the already "tall" sites from further gaining the advantage.

An elegant slow motion dance.

How's everyone doing? I think my stretching has started to slow down (no giggling) so i thought I should let them jsut do there thing now. The canopy is somewhat even as well, but it looks liek she'll be having none of that defoiliating... I've heard people stripping leaves at day 25 flower and then at day 40-something with amazing results. Might just try that considering I already have a lot of fan leaves.

looking good,if you havnt hit the 2 nd week of 12/12 Id still train em under, im at day 20 I've been giving it a trim here and there I did the last one right now now I'll be papper clipping the leafed out the way from now on.@GreatwhiteNorth wheres the girls im sure there starting to chunk up
lovely canopy, a true sea of buds. I'm at 2 and a half weeks actually and I don't think they're stretching anymore. One shoot hasn't moved for a few days.

What do you guys think of aggresive defoliation? I've heard/seen people defoliate at about 25 days of flower (heavily) and then leave the plant to do its thing. The buds certainly fatten up after the treatment and I have a huge forrest again that'll I need to do something about...

I'm in week one flower and I just did exactly that so I guess we'll see :-)
