Did they mount the sinks to backing plate?

Have you tried to weigh those bad boys yet? :joint:
yeah tons of silver grease screwed real well

how much % bigger is 3590 cob from a 3070 cob ?
I got some 3070 holders from GG just now , need a guess on how much
so I can wrap my head around sizes I do better with part in hand
& there been a delay on AU 3590 shipment , not happycamper

Ok that clicks now that I have a BJB 3070 holder in my hand ,
now I have a relative size my mind has it's head around size of the different cobs
the 4 each bars 34" long 3/16" x 3" AL bar stock I have on hand might just work with these sinks , a 3590 COB should will easily fit that 4" wide bar stock ??

, edit corrected my sizes

Each 1 on my 1200w panel weighed 673 grams each and the drivers can run 1 72v or 2 36v off each driver 700-750ma rated.
nice dude! thank you for that....big ups

That means that weight wise they are equal to the weight of 2x Arctic 10+.....I think each plug came out to 360-80 grams sans fan and wiring....that's f'ing crazy for whatever 1200watts actually drew :) probably still 700? on the equivalent of 2 Arctic 10's...Holy shit

in any way the plastic case the drivers are in has no VENT & those r some large sink inside the pwr sply so there is heat in there
I could see why these mars fail the cooling is not well planned out , but no regrets (only a small one but I wasn't keen on riu at that moment ) I did a great gro with them , the power bill was a adjustment lol

there's a part # on them this one the # is smudged to find the p/n
i will pop some more open once I start the hacks
& as mc30p pointed out moisture is a issue , I'll address that or not not gonna stress on that right now but will keep that in mind

I got my DHLtracking # from Cutter finally great deal but a hassel with them not informing me about the holiday closure
really don't get the week after the holidays you take a week ? seem a electrical supply would want to fill orders after a major holiday but that's downunder i guess , read the fine print on their terms of service Before you order
alotta things are not clear as the paypal fee , no free shipping international with paypal or not (actually more shipping $ with paypal ) they reseve the right to source for 2 days (not in stock to you & me ) Cree AU ships to cutter 2 days
anway we'll see when they get here 12 each 3590 3500K the whole kit cob , holder , pad , reflector great price

I was just about to pull the trigger on a doz artic 11 CPU coolers tonite for the 3590's
I want to get a light assy up Now !
But I then Dbbl checked fleabay & found 12 cpu coolers used but these have the heat pipes on them & they came outta a sever too as they have wings & large bolt slots they were just $3bucks & pennies for each I'll be able to bar mount easy peasy
that was shipping as well

the A/C64's are on the way Amazon some ebay newegg , a few randon a/c64 auctions I have over 30 on the wway
I figure that a 3590 holder mounted on a A/C64 is a valuable product
so i'll figure I need 30ish units to get the room converted the fastest (knowing myself & my constraints, skills )
I have 80/20 10 series 1" bars to mount the Ac64 to
Hard mouunted they will be bolted I'm thinking a single large stud/bolt taped into the side of the cooler
& maybe a option to be able to aim each cob at will , that'd be useful at the walls as I could run lite/cob at the ceiling/wall edge aimed in slightly you'd get a angle going into the canopy ?
