So who among you can make a legitimate argument for no government?

Nobody gets a chance to agree to it. But we all consent. When we use currency, we are consenting. I guess you're too cool to use currency, though. The gov. considers folks like you an outlier.

I don't consent to any if it. I never gave anyone the right to control me. If I'm bigger than you is it ok if I steal your lunch?

And that power he has demonstrates that a Sheriff is a gov. official. Gosh you're dense. Typical of cops, though. I haven't met a smart one yet.
If he is backed by the people then no he is not a government official. The people will give him the job not the government.

No I'm not, that's why I hate Trump and his cultists.

Go back to tty's post about the type of government. That's the important part--the role government plays. Trumpists want an authoritarian strongman to ruin people's lives. Liberals want a fairer and freeer society.
Obama built the police state Trump is just stuck with it.

So many anarchists and libertarians fail to make a case for no government. Can anyone offer an argument with sources that no government would be a good idea?

Anyone who responds should also explain how we could transition from government to no government.
You never adressed my first post in this thread. Is that because you can't understand it or you don't know how ?

Given the nature of an involuntary government it seems
The onus of proving where government (a fictional entity) gets the right to rule is on you.

Yes, no government leads to strongmen, who govern out of fear and vengeance.

Demonstrably false, if you consider the nature of how both a strongman and an involuntary government come into being.

There is no significant difference between government and a strongman, they use the same tactics to acquire and wield power.

I'm sorry but you aren't allowed to create your own facts which are contrary to the evidence for the convenience of your fallacious argument.

I would venture to say that is probably the phrase first used by man. kinda unoriginal.
But again I'd have to ask my parents why they thought they should.

Until you became capable of ruling yourself, nature intended you to be under the stewardship of a parent(s).

Whaaaa? Really????

Obama was trying to end use of private prisons, and Jeff Secessions has increased it.

Obama had a lenient policy on immigration enforcement, and Trump is orchestrating huge dragnets, sweeping up American citizens in the process.

Obama had a policy of hands off when it came to pot legalization, and Jeff Secessions has doubled down on the drug war.

Typical cop believes that the "slavery is freedom" mantra Trump is preaching really works.

Oh I see the problem, my lineage starts around the Magna Carta. or at least that's as far back as it goes for now. It's all I know.

Funny thing about family lineage is it assumes nobody in the family line got sired by the milkman. The likelihood of that happening increases the farther back we go.
