Sweet Seeds Big Devil & Fast Bud outdoors

No a friend of mine did a grow about 3-4 years ago where he used a large tupperware container and cut holes for the lids, he used net pots filled with little pieces of rockwool cubes. It was a very simple but effective system, the roots stayed in the water, with air stones under the roots. They grew crazy fast. I myself have never done hydro, I think what he did is called DWC, but to be honest I am "dumb" when it comes to hydro, its just something I have never gotten into.
Werd, I've read a shit load if stuff about hydro the past couple days and it seems very interesting to me. From what I have read DWC is the easiest to handle. Bubbleponics is very simalar but it suppose to be the most effective. Bubbleponics is basically a hybrid hydro system, it's like mixing DWC with a drip system. It suppose to be the bomb for cloning, also good for stressed plants. If you want a nice read about it or any hydro system check out this thread, long detailed read + it's also a grow journal documenting step by step the entire way threw.

I use a homemade bubbleponics system i made out of a rubber maid container and a fountain pump and 3 air stones... It grows plants faster than anything i seen before... it brings together the best of both worlds, its basically a DWC buket with individual feedin tubes for each site to speed up the grow process in the early stages. A popular device that uses this technique is the aerogarden. I also have a FB like i mentioned earleir but unfortunatly i kinda had and accident last week wen i was changing my ress.. my plants where tied up cuz i was doin a little lst and i pretty much tried to pull my system out of my tent without untiyin it and my FB's main stim snapped in 2 places and lost like 3 of her bottom branches... i put tape around the wounds and tied the top bak to stan it bak up and it seemed ok for a couple days but then i noticed the growth on my buds seamed stunned but then again she will only be 8 weeks at the end of the week and the expected time with this strain is 10 weeks ive heard... So pray for her to get fat cuz as of now id be luky if i pulled 7g's dry out of her wen she is done...

Fast Bud- Day 40 18-20 inches, quick measurement, sorry its not exact.
Big Devil- Day 41 14 1/2 inches tall, these heights are as of about 8:30 am this morning.
I think, and this thought is only valid if they really go nuts with producing bud, that these have at least 6 weeks left, which would put these plants at around 12 weeks from breaking soil at that point, if they finished before that I would be very surprised.:leaf:

Pictures coming asap, I am just not going to my spot at the moment with farmers around, and there really isnt any need to with the rain. So I try to stay away, and just look at them from a short distance away, to make sure they are still alive and well.

Got a chance to check my girls out, and they are looking pretty good. Trichome production has started and is looking pretty good already. The big devil is smelling much stronger than it did before. The fast bud is still about the same, but a bit farther behind on flowering. I think they will probably finish within a week of each other, but who knows its too early to tell that yet. Here are some pics from today. The one that looks like two plants next to each other is the fast bud, LSTing her was a good idea. Pics 1-6 are BD 7-11 are FB.

Not sure if thats the case sticky, but that would be nice. I havent checked out my girls lately, Im going to try not to go there until monday. When I go there everyday its hard to notice the difference, but wait a few days and its like damn, they have grown a lot. Plus the rain keeps them watered for me. Which also kind of sucks at the same time because I would rather the water they get have food in it for them at this point.

This rain needs to stop, its not good for my flowering plants. Plus I would like to be controlling the water/nutrient intake at this point. Please mother nature, we have had enough to last us quite a while, I can water my own stuff...

+rep. been waiting to see someone else start from seed, good luck. how far in the soil did u put the seeds?
I usually put the seeds about a half inch or so in the soil. I usually just poke a hole with my finger and put the seed in, not in any particular way, just throw it in, it will come up no matter how the seed is placed.

These are not speed devil, thats sweet seeds original auto, these are a fast bud and a big devil. 60 days? maybe under optimal conditions, which these are not.

Wow they stretched a lot xiko, I think maybe you had your light too high. But looks like you will yield some decent bud off of those autos. My poor big devil. I put it in such a bad spot. It is just not budding like it should be. Its frosty as hell though. My fast bud is doing ok, if the sun would stay out it would be doing a lot better. Way too much rain lately. I will try to update with some pics, hopefully later today.
