While the rw isn't busting with roots, there are a good amount of thick ones there. Nice. I hope the next round is more to your liking with regards to yield.

I've got one more vortex that is finishing up. This one has the best looking bud formation yet. The change that made a difference was raising the light up high. my 600 vented hood is now 16" above the canopy and the vortex prefers this. CO2, hydro, and 50 watts per foot was just too much for this girl to handle, :)

I finally dropped the cash on another bottle of floralicious plus. I'm used to seeing a slow ph drop with plants late in flower, but since I added the floralicious a few days ago it's been more stable.

That's interesting. Have you noticed more aroma or resin production? Those are my observations when using it.

I've only been running it for a few days now, but I'll try to make an observation on aroma and resin as the next vortex girl finishes up. My res has far more aroma now,

Hey HB, so your saying Floralicious plus gives off a stronger aroma? What about taste will it help in that department? I hope all is well..

Homebrewer, It has been a couple weeks since starting the Floralicious plus and I have no doubts that the aroma and stickyness are way more intense. My advice for others growing vortex in hydro... slow it down :) raise the lights, turn down the co2, turn down the temps, dial back the nutes.

Glad it's working out for you! I try to be skeptical in my own use of expensive products but I find that product to be worth the $4 it adds per hydro grow.

hey burrr the girls looking nice over there! Consider it subd

also, in your experience(and hb or any others) should you only add the floralicious plus or would kool bloom (dry), sweet or other supplements be desirable?

I honestly don't have years of experience like HB and others, so it's hard for me give any real data on these products. I avoided all additives for the last few months, I was tired of seeing weird shit build up in my DWC plumbing. I tried floranectar and found it was a contributer to slimey buildup. I've never used koolbloom powder at all, but did use liquid with GH flora series for a few rounds.
On the floraliciuos plus--- I have not been impressed with the flavor or aroma of the vortex I was growing. It had lots of trichomes, but not much else. The girl we harvested 3 weeks ago did not get any Fplus, the one that I chopped last week did. Everything else was the same. The girls with the Fplus taste and smell way more intense. I will continue to use it in my lineup.

I will not be using any koolbloom, or PK boosters. I know that my dynagrow gives them enough P and K, and I don't fully understand the principles behind shocking your plants with PK to make bigger buds.

I'll still shy away from all of the sweeteners, at least for now. Once i get a strain picked as my favorite, and learn how it grows, I'll try some experiments to see if I can tweak any improvements out of it.

I have the benefit of using Homebrewer as my mentor, He always points me in the right direction. You should read through some of his grow journals, they are packed full of good info and discussions.

homebrewer is floricious bloom the same thing ? Im using this cuz im only flowering no veg only healthy teens.
They both contribute the same ppm to a gallon of water and roughly have the same ingredients but Floralicious plus is supposedly more concentrated. It looks like it is and smells like it too. I would use floralicious bloom at maybe 3mls per gallon in hydro.
