trying to move to west coast ..keep me in yalls prayers..all i need is agood harvest this year and ill be there..i really look up to yall.i think your one of the coolest ever and i love learning how to grow..and how to be generous ..from yall .....hope we meet one day juust so i can shake u and subs hand.and would luv to be one of your apprentices..

In reference to Question 1...

I am certain that Sub recommends dosing the supersoil to the strain you are growing, less for indica dom strains (hell, BCS herms when given too much SS) and more for sativa dom ones like A13 and space queen etc. The top dressing is only necessary if you undershoot the amount of SS in the bottom of the containers. Which one should only find out near the end of flowering...
Thanks ome Grown. I am sure he would as well. I was just curious why in an episode of the show he mentioned not putting any SS in the bottom of the pot and just top feeding in week 4 on a plant I believe was Cheese Quake or some cheese variety. I am in my first run of SS and about to apply it to an LA cheese plant, which has done well with low nutrients hydroponically for me before but I am doubting I can get through a run with just top feeding.
Thanks again guys.

don't know about #1, but the last thing you want to add to a burnt plant is more heat......pure water, and time will fix her faster than anything else......another option is to re-pot into appropriate mix....good luck!
Thanks! Yeah I pulled her out and cut down the soil quite a bit with just some Harvest Moon #4, which is basically Roots and a little Sunshine #4. She has some pretty bad burns in one area, but seems to be rebounding. Just hate to watch my babies suffer!

A buck a seed? Really? Maybe you meant thats what you pay your team to produce them for you? There's no way in hell you are selling seeds to Attitude for a buck and they turn and charge us $10. If so, you should open your own seed bank cause we all are getting severely ripped. Not tryin to stir shit, I'm a fan and have 5 of your strains growin, just that comment doesnt make sense. I mean you sell everything else but the one thing that made you famous. Most other breeders sell seeds out their back door ie Shanti. Or is it because you dont wanna be Marc Emory's next door neighbour?

I'm pretty informed about the business brother and I have spoken to many of the top breeders in the world and my math is DEAD on.
Every time a seed moves it doubles in price. You think Farmers get the lions share of the super market prices. Your sadly mistaken if you believe the farmers are the ones making the coin.
Shanti became a retailer a few years back and IMO his product suffered for it.

I believe it. I had an non-guaranteed order come up missing from Castle, they were good and gave me 50% off my next order and stated that I would be getting that order at cost, and that they would NOT make any profit off it. Which is saying they double their money on every seed sold.

I always love it when people bitch and moan about markup on cannabis or seeds. Hey guys, in case you didn't notice this is an ILLEGAL market, meaning the people selling the seeds are risking potential jailtime (see marc emery). Even where it is not specifically illegal to sell the seeds, there are a shitload of taxes and expenses. Normal businesses regularly do these kind of markups that aren't in black markets, so complaining about markup in a black market is just (sorry to say it) moronic. I say the same thing I say to most people who gripe about shit and can't believe it's the way it is -- you go change it yourself if it's so easy to make it work. I'm guessing if you did you'd quickly find that the money you are making at minimal markup is not worth the effort. Why would you go through the hassle and risk for no reward? You wouldn't. This feeds into a lot of class warfare type arguments... the truth is (as someone who's done it) running a business is a non-stop pain in the fucking ass most times and it is NOT worth doing unless you are making decent money off of it. My problem with seed prices is more with the quality of what you get than the prices. I think sub's prices are reasonable most breeders prices are much more expensive bullshit for plants that are at best no better than TGA.

I think he also mentioned that the lime/lemon juice can spoil while in the soil so that's why he just uses pH down.

I have pH down but never ever have to use it... it goes unused. All the extras I add to the water for cal-mag or micronute mixes drop the pH -- I only ever have to pH up. I use Earth Juice pH up/down.

My reasoning for using the lime is that it puts the water/teas at 6.8 to 7.0 every time,an its pretty fool proof...
