my secret ingredient, dry ice... Solid Co2, 1lb of dry ice will do wonders for you flowering ladies. i like to sit it in the grow space once a week and it really works makes it so healthy and speeds up photosynthesis...

im really liking that dry ice idea. so it does really work? does it have the dual effect of bringing down temps as well? how many plants is good for 1 pound? do you have any comparisons without the dry ice and how much more you yielded?

I brew my own beer at home, and when I siphon it out of the fermenter into the bottles there is a thick layer of brewer's yeast at the bottom. I like to add this to my compost tea for my girls in flower. It's rich in vitamin B-1 and other trace minerals.
I aslo use molasses, earthworm castings (awesome stuff), live earthworms in the soil, and mychorrizal fungi as well as Trichoderma hazarnium bacteria. There's all kinds of organic goodies that plants love.

How do mycorrhizal fungi work? Mycorrhizal root systems increase the absorptive the absorbing area of roots 10 to 1000 times thereby greatly improving the ability of the plants to utilize the soil resource. (Figure 4). Mycorrhizal fungi are able to absorb and transfer all of the 15 major macro and micro nutrients necessary for plant growth. Mycorrhizal fungi release powerful chemicals into the soil that dissolve hard to capture nutrients such as phosphorous, iron and other "tightly bound" soil nutrients. This extraction process is particularly important in plant nutrition and explains why non mycorrhizal plants require high levels of fertility to maintain their health. Mycorrhizal fungi form an intricate web that captures and assimilates nutrients conserving the nutrient capital in soils. In non mycorrhizal conditions much of this fertility is wasted or lost from the system.

whats with all the ego's!? chill people, this is a weed forum!! hah my tip for now to do with clones. i cut at a 45degree angle sit in clonex for 2mins then put them straight into peat pelets (the jiffy ones you put in water to expand) these are then planted into small pots (the size of a party cup) straight away into a seedling mix that is about 40% perlite 60% biobizz allmix. the clones are then just put straight under my 200w cfl and misted on a regular basis with a little superthrive. i have had 100% success on my last two goes!
that's not photoshopped.
cat shit everywhere. he eats a lot of seafood mix. 
i'm sure it's full of good stuff. dogs sure love eating it.

Been growing herb for over 20 years and never even heard the word mycorrhizal, let alone knew it was good for plants... But also didn't ask for my own knowledge... This thread was posted to be informative to those out there that wanted to expand apon the basics..... You care to discuss that the next time you are in Humboldt or San Diego, you let me know and we can meet up.... I'm not a botanist, just a connoisseur.
