good lookin out dude. i didnt think so but thats logical. so pact the soil on the rapid rooter around stem? can i just put some soil in a cup and pact it aroun the stem like that?

So right now the seeds are just in rapid rooters? If so, fill up your dixie cup or whatever pot you're using and bury the rapid rooter/seedling deep enough so that it will stand up on its own, and then drop those lights closer. You can bury the seedling all the way up to its cotyledons. I try to get as close as I can whenever I transplant.

They'll grow out of it and into your soil. You can wait or go ahead and transplant now. Id go ahead and do it since they're falling over.

UB, can you name some strains that are a "must-grow"? Ive got so many strains on my mind, I figured why not add some more to the list I want to grow. Eventually, Im just gonna write them all down on pieces of paper, put in a hat and pull one out randomly and that'll be my next grow.

I'm interested in your opinion on strains myself. Until I got my MMJ card and started researching I had no idea there were so many varieties of high quality marijuana available, and I've personally sampled only a few of them. I keep hearing things about various strains (white widow, northern lights, etc), but would really like some opinions on what you (and others) think the best 3-4 to grow are assuming you're not doing a SOG/SCROG and keeping the plants short, and are growing in soil.

It's not a big deal because I keep it in check but it does rear its ugly head occasionally. I just received my Jack's Classic nutes yesterday. I'm gonna give them a try but I will still need the cal-mag plus correct? I haven't seen calcium or magnesium listed in the analysis on the Orchid special but the bloom booster shows magnesium on the analysis. I checked into Dyna Gro also and it's a little bit more expensive than the FF nutes. I see that they are complete though so I may give them a try also.

im a newb but ive spent the last 2 wks glued to this forum and your threads especially, i dont really understand all the numbers when you guys talk about nutrients and i dont understand other stuff but im trying too lol
my question is whats your views on molasses? is it worth using? its very cheap and i have read many people are using it for there soil grows but b4 i use it i wanted to get your opinion?
currently im using bio-bizz all-mix soil It contains an effective blend of soil (20%), compost (35%), worm castings (10%) and Perlite (30%) as well as a special 'pre-mix' (5%) of biologically active organic ingredients that have been fermented for a month to create a potent mixture? that last bit def sounds like a marketing plug even to me.
and im using bio-bizz grow.
