Ah, so denigrating the job in order to justify exploiting the worker.

You're a real live credit to your fellow man.
if you think the button pusher is as valuable as someone like bill gates or donald trump, you're fuckin delusional

one of the largest beef companies in the US is in detroit, supplying some of the brands you probably bitch about for not paying a "living wage"
Conflating Walmart with McDonald's because you lost the argument.

You are stupid. Please go read an economics text.

If the job is that easy, automate it.

If it needs to be done by a human, then pay them a living wage.

No one said they should be millionaires.

By the way, no one needs a billion dollars. Ever.

just pointing out facts brother. truth hurts sometimes?
20% smaller but cheaper by 75cents. (which off the top of my head is 20% cheaper ish) If you google the answer and not go for a bad pic.

I havent had a Big mac in donkeys years, i normally grab a Gourmet Angus ^

But we eat less in portion sizes in everything. The world knows Americans eat heaps.

So we have a Scotch fillet steak which is more expensive here than there.

We have Lamb that is cheaper here than there (im assuming as nobody said otherwise)

We have Milk and bread that is the same price. (which is the BIG one as its a staple)

We have a Big Mac that is 20% smaller but also 20% cheaper so the same price in reality.

And we have a higher min wage (double or more for adults) with penalty rates and allowances. Sounds like our children under 18 get paid more than your adults...

Im glad we cleared all that up.

^ copied from the other thread..after he realised he didnt have a clue and went away

he also forgot that I used the word "about"
and didnt mention the extra income the workers get from penalty rates...which could mean they get 3 times the hrly rate.

bottom line here guys, unskilled labor isnt worth a shit. get over it, or not. i dont care, nor do i expect to changed any of your minds.
but i can tell you, i wont pay unskilled labor more than minimum.

you guys are welcome to pay folks whatever you choose though

He'd much rather try to score points by gloating about how I'm in legal trouble for growing a harmless plant.

On a weed site.

He really knows how to make friends and influence people, doesn't he?

A person is earning $10 an hr and with that money he can buy 10 bottles of milk

Time passes and the same person is still earning $10 an hr but can only buy 5 bottles of milk due to real world wage erosion, he is actually earning less money.

Min wage linked to inflation means he is now earning enough to buy 10 bottles of milk. His hourly rate has gone up but in reality, it buys the same.
Not true, I have been a pensioner for quite a while. I worked in the corporate arena so I had fairly good benefits. One of the things is an inflation-linked increase over the years.
The problem is that real inflation is always much higher than the basket government uses to determine inflation. My pension today is worth only a fraction of what it was. I was positively stinking rich in my early twenties compared to now.

Yes. Over time, the banksters have reached into your pocket and stolen your prosperity.
