Snowden is a coward who couldn't face the consequences of his actions. At least Ellsberg wasn't such a pussy: he actually surrendered himself and stood trial for breaking the law.
he is facing those consequences as we speak... You'd would do exactly the same son...

He didn't run, I think. He was extracted. And if there was a real Press, we would see a picture of his Honey Trap...Nah.
Putin is too professional for that. He wrote chapters on Honey Trap, himself.

A holiday to Hong Kong and Russia? Please sign me up, because that sounds substantially better than being jailed and tried.
Hong Kong yeah, you think russias a holiday? there's a reason communism is prevelent there... Oh and you're thinking tried and jailed, not found guilty until proven innocent.

As you say, it is part of the oldest profession.

But, the details of its varied uses in the modern world is the art of the ruse. The, fine line, of not TOO good to be true.
The circumstance of meeting....entirely natural....seeming.

For Snowden? Absolutely. No work, no annoying/dumb stripper bitch girlfriend, free food/entertainment/etc. on the Russian government's dime--sounds like a holiday to me.

Snowden would immediately be jailed and would not be permitted bail given that he already fled the country. So I meant what I said: jailed and tried. They'd only let him out if he were found not guilty.

No the US government wouldn't do such a thing... You guys like welcoming back "defectors"... State dept. will probably even pay for the visa, it wouldn't be the first time such has occured
