But, the details of its varied uses in the modern world is the art of the ruse. The, fine line, of not TOO good to be true.

For Snowden? Absolutely. No work, no annoying/dumb stripper bitch girlfriend, free food/entertainment/etc. on the Russian government's dime--sounds like a holiday to me.
Snowden would immediately be jailed and would not be permitted bail given that he already fled the country. So I meant what I said: jailed and tried. They'd only let him out if he were found not guilty.
