i bet that spider mite infestation was grown on purpose for ratings. noway a grower would let it get that bad. this whole show is scripted...they edit it to make their ratings. this show will evolve just like all the other bs reality shows.the producers will edit out the pos. aspect of mj and promote the neg aspects if it makes better ratings. this show is not pot friendly...its money greedy and nothing good will come of this mockery.

I have been watching this for last 3 episodes. Well... it's not shedding a good light on MMJ laws and patients. Sure there a few needy deserving people they show, but the majority are freak show retards that has been plaguing mary jane for centuries.
So in essence, the show is being realistic. The MMJ scene is perceived as a complete joke by most, sure it has good intentions but it's just a completely abused system so kids can get pot "legitimately". I'd rather the show was accurate to a degree, as opposed to written purely to make cannabis and the people and lifestyle look wonderful, which in reality is a load of tosh. It's largely a bunch of folk trying to get off their tits.

I don't know dress. But I know he has that position for a reason, that reason is he has run the east bay scene for decades. He makes us seem like dime baggers. And yes, his style is funny.

Sure there a few needy deserving people they show, but the majority are freak show retards that has been plaguing mary jane for centuries. Then last episode the kid stealing money on pain medication... so they are saying that using MMJ is a gateway drug.. wow lets put more negative shit on this show. I first thought this would be a good thing, but after the brother that looks like he is stoned 110% of the time, the owner with his fucking dirty ponytails and 20s hats, then the moron with the dress, the fat douche in purchasing with woman's glasses.. I mean wtf.

It is interesting and I still watch it, but its doing NOTHING for the MMJ law and people perception of MMJ instead its hurting it more.

Unfortunately yes, but I would have rather been about the legitimacy of patients and positive light on MMJ that it "could" have been. I mean we need to get the "good" word out there and ALL that has happened since the states invoked their MMJ laws is dispensaries/care givers bending the laws to extremes and getting busted, kids trying to be drug lords etc..

That is what is killing our MMJ movement. If the little tiny bit of good from MMJ would shine through the tons of hippy, punk thug drug slanging BS it might have a chance, but I don't think it will be in our life time. Sad but true.

it's sad. i mean really, Eli Lily doesn't hand out samples of valium to the pharmacists. why is it ok to hand out smaples of MMJ to employees of the dispen? they make it look too recreational IMO

I'm much more concerned with the fact that the MMJ system is just an easy tool for people to use to get high than the folk working with loopholes to get more money. It doesn't matter what kind of positive spin on it, from where i sit, everything indicates that the system is completely flawed, but that is of course in part because of the flawed federal system as well. As i said earlier, i laughed a bit when the "sick" guy let his dog chose his strain for him, that is the non-serious manner in which i have been led to view the mmj system largely because of what i read on these forums, not what the news tries to make me think.

Ya the dog was just stupid. I mean don't get me wrong visit your local dispensary and you see all kinds of idiotic stuff like this so I don't doubt that's not made up for the show.

well thats closer to hate than truth.

Steven D is a big time activist for MMj, the biggest. Yall should do some research on the guy. His ponytails? Really? Are you ten years old now? I think he is gay yall, so how would you like him to dress? In pink with a tutu? His hair and hat? LMAO at the haterade you've been drinking.

His brother is high... der, like everyone else in the industry. Do you guys know anything about CA MMj? Its recreational under the guise of medical. Why should we pretend otherwise and discredit ourselves?

Rick's glasses? Really? Fat douche? Seriously, he is one of the most genuine respectful intelligent people in the industry. He, if anyone, shows the world that some of us are nerdy normal people who want to do our jobs to the best of our abilities. Stop drinkin' that haterade. You are way off here.

i always find it odd when i see depictions of marijuana in the media and then some stoner comes along and bashes it because its is not their view or perspective of what marijuana means to them. there are millions of people that smoke pot and they are not all like you. i love how every grower or smoker thinks that they "define" the "movement." get over yourself.

Oh boy! Moon Shiners!

Seriously though; I enjoy weed wars. I live in Florida, where marijuana is equal to drunken sex with underage animals while performing a nazi salute and reciting verses from The Satanic Bible, so its interesting to see how dispensary's operate and such. One day Florida will have legalized medical marijuana. I'm sure I'll be dead by then, but atleast my grand kids can have access to medicine.

Am I the only one that read something about there only being four eps??? Grrr I can't remember where that was either..

I know it was somewhere close to reading about the lawsuit over the idea being pitched to Discovery channel already.. however I can't remember where or even if it's just rumor.. or anything..

So if someone wants to confirm this for me via pm or profile comment I'd be much obliged.

I watched an episode for the first time yesterday and I have mixed feelings. For one, the younger Steve is a huge douche; how the hell can you use MMJ for pain relief, but spend all your money on opiates? Oxymoron. Also he stole from his friends to support this habit. I did like the fact that they showed legitimate patients who cited real relief from MMJ. Not really sure I like the show though. I do know that I wish we had dispensaries here in TX.

Well this weeks episode was good and bad. Still showing people high at work handing out drugs, just not a good thing to show. I like the 420 celebration they threw that was cool. And then there was the old man smoking weed for the first time. He may have never smoked weed but it sure looks like he tried some crack at some point the way he was trying to smoke that, just like a crackhead!

I nearly tore a rib muscle when that dipshit tried to spark a bowl. I think the staff should use that as an example of why they need to spend more time with obvious noobs. Maybe an instructional video? Include a how to clean your pipe tutorial. I duno; I'm high bongsmilie
